I recently dined at a charming restaurant in Edina, and I must say, the cornbread was some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The barbecue sauce was exquisite—sweet, rich, and clearly crafted with care. The atmosphere felt like stepping back into the 1950s, which was a nice touch.
However, my experience was mixed. Upon entering, I felt a bit out of place; all eyes seemed to be on me, which was a bit intimidating. I wasn’t sure how the ordering process worked, as there were no clear signs indicating whether to seat myself or wait to be served. After a brief wait, I asked another customer for guidance.
I ended up waiting 25 minutes on a phone call, during which no server approached my table. It was somewhat uncomfortable, and I felt overlooked. When I inquired about the ordering process, the staff was apologetic and assured me someone would assist me shortly. Eventually, I placed my drink order and then my food order, which included nachos and a marinated chicken sandwich.
The nachos were substantial and delicious, with fresh vegetables and excellent pulled pork. The chicken sandwich, while tasty, could have benefitted from some additional toppings. Overall, the food was quite good.
Despite the quality of the food, I felt a bit unwelcome during my visit. It’s important to note that this was my first experience in a small-town restaurant, and I understand that dynamics can differ from larger cities. As a cattle hauler passing through, I appreciate the effort that small businesses put into their offerings.

Very good BBQ and dessert.
I got the Carolina it was delicious my husband got pulled pork sandwich,salad and we got an order of loaded fried the jalapeños are fresh so very spicy lol.
Their German chocolate cake was really good.

Absolutely phenomenal tasting food! We had the brisket nachos and the brisket grilled cheese. The brisket servings are very generous for the low price! You definitely will not leave here hungry!

More than enough food and Pepsi for the $. Very good cilantro slaw!!! A favorite at our table. BBQ was a little light on smoke flavor, but was prepped well with very little fat. We will go again and their desserts sound great.
