This is kind of crazy but what high praise for Artisan Pizza Cafe to RECOMMEND Bobby Jo’s Pizza to me. Both businesses had nothing but praise for each other’s products. Met Danny the owner. This is just another owner that is fabulous, super nice and spent the time to share his story of doing pop-up’s to spread the word about his business. I decided I would order a pepperoni/mushroom/hot honey pizza. He is using a semolina flour to get that crispy New Haven type crust with a nice char and crispy feel. The sauce had a great tomato flavor to it. Cheese was perfect and flavorful. Add those Ezzo’s pepperoni. Yummy. He is cooking his mushrooms prior to using which makes them phenomenal. Add some hot honey to finish it off and you have a great pizza. If you get a chance you have to check his creations out. This is just another example of our great small businesses in Central Ohio.

Been following bobby Jo’s pizza ever since they were doing pop ups before settling into Donericks pub. So it had been on my list for awhile now and man did it exceed my already high expectations! We got the Cap’n Crunch and a regular pep for the table. The hot honey using the blackcap hot sauce is addicting and can probably just be put on everything i eat from now on. Had a great crunch to the crust, really great sauce and pretty sure every slice had between 8-10 pepperonis. Overall a really well balanced bite and hits all the notes you would be looking for in a great slice. We got 2 pizzas just to try it since we had eaten not too long before and ended up finishing all but 2 slices. Staff could not have been nicer and everything was quick. So happy we finally got to go! I’d make this a priority if you haven’t tried it yet.

This pizza lives up to the hype! The crust and sauce are delicious. The Cap N’ Crunch and the new BBQ Chicken pizzas are my favorite. Don’t forget to try the subs too!

Truly the best pizza in Columbus. It’s a mix between New Haven style and New York style, and it combines the best aspects of both. The somewhat chewy and foldable dough of NY style with the delightful chared undercarriage of New Haven style. The staff was also super friendly.
I had the Cap N’ Crunch and it was fantastic.
If you want truly great pizza in Columbus, you have to stop in!

I’ve been going to Bobby Joe’s since they first opened as a pop-up. I have been a loyal fan for a while. I just ordered a pie from them on DoorDash. There was only one option because DoorDash was a little messed up, but I’m sure they’re gonna get it fixed now I requested in the notes that they give me a grandma pie just that everybody knows on here. The grandma pie is the best and they hooked it up my boys at Bobby Joe’s. Got me let’s go baby!!!!

Some of the best pizza in the city, hands down. I was at a point where I couldn’t go a week without it. Just about everything is scratch made. The amount of creativity, time, & effort that goes into making everything is hard to find anywhere. Every month they have a new special pizza and I encourage you to try it even if doesn’t seem like something you would try. Often find myself asking “how did you even come up with that?”
The staff is very welcoming. As much as I love getting the pizza, I also enjoy going into see the staff and find myself spending time catching up with them and just watching them do their thing.
The quality of food coming out of that small of a kitchen is beyond impressive. Their Italian sub is one of the best in the city. Trust me. Especially if the sandwich king is working.
And the customer complaining about the oil? Having talked to their staff, I’m pretty sure the only thing they put oil in is their sauce and it’s legit a splash. So don’t listen to that person.
They can go eat their frozen pizza or grab a burnt pie from Sextons as it appears they don’t know quality when it touches their taste buds.
Oh and don’t forget to get Tony’s way when you order your pizza along with a side of house made ranch.
Stop eating trash pizza and grab yourself a pie from Bobby Jo’s.

I first heard about Bobby Jo’s on Instagram and immediately knew I had to go when they collabed with Ray Rays hog pit. I got the jerk chicken pizza with two side sauces (hot honey and ranch) and it was SO GOOD!!! May be one of my top pizzas I’ve had in Columbus. The crew was also so nice. I’ll definitely be coming back soon 🙂

My absolute favorite pizza in Columbus. There is just nothing else like it around here. This is the type of pie that you travel across the country for. So lucky to have it right down the road from me now. Dave Portnoy is going to cream his jeans when he tries this. MONSTER SCORE INCOMING

To anyone out there who loves India Oak’s Italian sub, you are also going to love Bobby Jo’s. I can’t decide which is better! And the pizza — fantastic! Great crust, sauce AND toppings. A lot of good pizza in the area, but I think Bobby Jo’s just became a new, frequent go-to!
