Established in 2011, Bobby D’s BBQ prides itself on house made southern-style BBQ with a southwestern flair. The smoked chicken wings were unreal — perfectly smoky, juicy, and packed with flavor. The cheesesteak was also amazing, cooked just right and seriously satisfying. Honestly, everything we tried was on point.

First, the good: Service was outstanding, friendly, attentive and prompt. The building is very cool and historic. The bbq sauces were very good.
I really wanted to like this place but the food just wasn’t very good. Brisket and ribs were extremely dry and didn’t have much flavor. My wife’s burger was thin and easily fell apart. The beans were too saucy and sweet while the cornbread was super dry. I didn’t finish either. Maybe it’s good bbq for a tourist town or maybe it’s better on different days… but we know bbq and this was mediocre at best while charging premium prices.

This place is amazingly delicious.. the smell of BBQ brought us to this place . Great atmosphere great service. I got BBQ ribs with fries and cornbread. Delicious. Loved the fries. Cornbread was spot on and BBQ ribs were fall of the bone. I highly recommend this place . We will defently be visiting this place in the future.

Good grub! Tried the prickly pear lemonade sweet tea and it was refreshing and delicious! Tacos and pulled pork, fried zucchini were yummy too! Atmosphere is very casual.

The restaurant was very cozy, it was a tad hot inside the dining room. The food was amazing I was shocked at how reasonable the prices are. Our server Amelia was great. The brisket and pulled pork tasted great. The sauces are very favorable. I really liked the barbeque baked beans with the cornbread It was amazing. The zucchini fries are delicious and great. The fresh lemonade is very refreshing. If you don’t like barbeque they have options, I will go back again..they do offer a Veterans discount. We went in as a party of 12 and our bill was less than $250.

Food was fantastic and the service was very friendly. It’s a little pricey but I’d go again. I had the brisket sliders which could have used a little more meat for the price, but everything else’s was delicious. Wife enjoyed her Arizona Sunset drink and the kids enjoyed their burgers. So much that it was a quiet drive back to the PHX valley for dad as they were all passed out.

Bobby D’s as a great place to stop the food is good. The French fries are excellent! You can scan a QR code for the menu to walk inside and look at one. Once you select your choices you go to the end of the bar to order. They have a soda machine for you to make your selection of products if that’s what you so choose. I gave it a 4-5 star rating only based off portion size vs the price. Again no complaints on the food or service they were great. Once you make your food choices check out there sauces. We tried everyone of them and loved them. They aren’t hot at all and pack a good taste. Again don’t let my review stop you from going here. Definitely worth stopping and checking out!
