Very laid back! Lots of outdoor seating! At our visit they had all you could eat crab claws for $49! I got the regular appetizer basket and it was plenty and very well done!#

Been coming here for two years. The food is very good, and they have incredible weekly deals. The burgers are great and the best buns I’ve ever had! Tried the fried mushrooms made on site, and they were awesome. The fried catfish never disappoints. The service and atmosphere is the best in town.

We made reservations for a party of 20 for my 50th birthday. The table was ready when we arrived, no waiting at all. Our waitress was the best, very attentive, friendly and just a happy girl. She continually checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. ( I wish I could remember her name) The service was very quick. The food was good. I loved my experience there. It was a nice place to hang out after dinner, listen to the band and let the kids play. Thanks Bobbers for making my birthday dinner so wonderful!

We’ve been here twice, and both times the service was terrible. On our last visit, our server didn’t put our order in for over 40 minutes and was on her phone the whole time. We were among the first customers in the building on a Saturday morning, but she never communicated her mistake or apologized. Another staff member even had to tell her to get it together because she was messing up multiple orders.
Meanwhile, we watched other tables get served faster—likely because they knew the servers. It was frustrating and unprofessional. I’ve been a server myself, so I understand the job is demanding, but it’s not hard to stay focused and avoid distractions.

From out of town. Service was bad. Food was somewhat ok. Had a variety of things Smashburger was decent, okra very bland,wedge salad lettuce wasn’t very cold. Overall probably won’t come back.

It has always been a nice place, with good service but tonight we got there a little later than normal around 830 pm. The waitress was rushing us the whole time & didn’t even bring us a lime with our $10.50 half shot of hot Patron. My kids were not offered refills and I have never felt more uncomfortable in my life. Sorry we prolonged your departure waitress that didn’t even introduce herself.

So, the family and I traveled to Bobber’s Bar & Grill on a Tuesday in June of last month. The 27th to be exact. I’ve heard nothing but good things about the food, atmosphere, etc… I had seen previous posts from Bobber’s and it’s definitely somewhere you don’t want to take your kids on a Friday or Saturday night, so we picked a Tuesday around 1730 to try them out. Seemed reasonable.
We are greeted at the door by a young blonde female dressed in what appeared to be a purple gymnastics outfit. Odd, but ok. We are sat by a super nice young girl and gave our drink order. I order the frog legs and fried green tomatoes as appetizers. Both appetizers were really good, but the wife had to track down silverware and napkins to eat said appetizers with. Kind of annoyed.
We order for 4 kids and 2 adults. Nothing crazy. The young waitress says it’s her “first day”. Cool. Understandable. We can work with that. She appreciates us understanding.
Entrées arrive. Salads are 10 minutes behind the Entrées and not correct, but still ok.
I ordered the fried grouper and onion rings. I had no idea it would be blackened grouper and blackened onion rings. Not edible at all. I have NEVER in my 44 years of being alive sent an order back, until tonight. When I tell you it was bad…it was BAD!!! I’ll eat a shoe if it’s cooked correctly. IYKYK me.
So, its sent back. No manager comes to apologize and make the issue right. I order a hamburger steak with onions and mushrooms and a side of okra. I eat this, but its not good. No flavor, okra under cooked. Fat boy is not a happy camper (pardon the Wedowee pun).
We finish and head out to leave. We meet our waitress at the front and she checks us out. While we’re waiting for her to get this ready, a group of 8 patrons are sitting near the register. All of said patrons are staring at my young family, snickering, staring and laughing at us for some unknown reason. Well…if you know Chris, this doesn’t go off without something being said. In my booming voice, I ask the gentleman rubbing his beard and staring at me (along with the rest of the trash at his table) IS THERE SOMETHING I CAN HELP YOU WITH?? You could’ve heard a pin drop over the white trash music playing in the background. Surprise…no one said a word, but all went back to their Wordscapes game on their phones.
I paid my $104 bill and we left the establishment. Just so we are clear, no alcohol was purchased. This was $104 worth of garbage. Sweet teas, waters, and a Coke.
I will NEVER set foot back in this place, ever. I hope this review goes viral in Wedowee, Alabama and ever person who is halfway decent sees it and spreads the word. The people in this business could care less about your experience and the integrity of the business or food. May I also add that the obscenities wrote in black permanent marker all over the buildings, near the dance floor were not appealing.

Lunch was good. Philly steak on a soft bun and lots of melty cheese..yummy. Had these and cheese side..eh. But the prize goes to the fried pepper appetizer. So good! Service was outstanding. I wish I had remembered to buy a tshirt and next time we will sit outside. Looks amazing.
