The waitress was extremely sweet, which definitely helped set a positive tone. We started with the crab-stuffed mushrooms, which were honestly the highlight of the meal, rich, flavorful, and very well done. The deep-fried calamari, however, was extremely salty to the point of being hard to enjoy.
For our entrees, my husband ordered the 12 oz ribeye with a twice-baked potato, and I had the Cajun salmon with mixed vegetables. Both meals also came with soup or salad. The food itself was decent, but overall fairly straightforward and not especially memorable.
Overall, the service was kind and the atmosphere was very “down home,” but the food and presentation didn’t quite match the price point. The plating felt more cafeteria-classic than destination dining, and visually, nothing really signaled premium or special-occasion pricing. Some dishes landed better than others, but for the overall experience and cost, it’s not a place I’d feel compelled to revisit.
The appetizer, steak, twice baked potato were served luke warm or room temp. The potato had a weird flavor mixed in it that I don’t think it belonged in there. The bread was great and was my favorite part of the meal experience. Server was great and the busser was quick. He kept asking for my plate while I’m still using it.
Flavor of the food served doesn’t match the price they are charging for them. From Denny’s to Primal to The Steakhouse, this was Outback at best. Texas Roadhouse is better. I really wanted to love this place
As I cut into the prime rib, the tenderness was immediately apparent. The meat yielded effortlessly to the knife, revealing a juicy, rosy interior that spoke to expert cooking techniques and impeccable timing. Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures—the crisp, flavorful outer crust contrasted wonderfully with the succulent, melt-in-your-mouth center. The seasoning was masterfully executed, enhancing the natural beef flavors without overpowering them. Subtle hints of garlic, rosemary, and black pepper intertwined perfectly, creating layers of complexity that kept each mouthful interesting and satisfying.
The accompanying sides and sauces complemented the prime rib impeccably. A creamy horseradish sauce added a gentle kick that elevated the richness of the beef, while a side of roasted vegetables brought a fresh, earthy balance to the plate. The mashed potatoes were luxuriously smooth and buttery, serving as a comforting base that absorbed the meat’s juices beautifully. The entire meal was a testament to the steakhouse’s dedication to quality and flavor, making the prime rib not just a dish but a memorable dining experience. Every element, from the cut of meat to the final garnish, reflected a passion for excellence that any steak lover would deeply appreciate. This prime rib was, without a doubt, one of the finest I’ve ever had, setting a new standard for what a steakhouse meal should be.
It’s lovely outside but dark inside and it’s noon time!
It wasn’t busy at lunch and no reservations needed. There was adequate parking.
Our server was rude and inattentive. We will not go back. So many other restaurants where the food is better and not so expensive.
But my 15-year-old was like, “Come onnnn, give it another try,” and because I’m a soft parent with a big heart (and an even bigger appetite), we came back.
Now listen… the restaurant was PACKED. Busy busy. The kind of busy where you already know someone in the kitchen is whispering, “Lord, take the wheel.” BUT—our server Kali? BABYYYY. Kali came out with the energy of a motivational speaker mixed with a superhero. Smiling, moving fast, checking on us, keeping everything together like, “I GOT YOU!” Even with all that chaos, the customer service was top-notch.
And the FOOD??? Whew
That shrimp pasta was giving “I’m not sharing” vibes. The shrimp were seasoned, the noodles were swimming in flavor, and the lemon on the side? YES. That little squeeze made it taste like a fresh, fancy, “I paid rent for this meal” type of dish And the parmesan on top? Don’t play with me.
Then we had the BBQ ribs… and when I say they were covered in sauce like they were going to a barbecue fashion show—GLOSSY. SHINY. SERIOUS. The kind of ribs that make you stop talking mid-sentence and just nod like, “Mmm.” And the loaded baked potato? That thing was dressed better than me. Butter, sour cream, green onions… it had the full spa package.
We literally had to take food home because the portions were not playing.
So yeah… I’m still side-eyeing the first visit BUT this time? Kali saved the day, and the food came through. If you go, ask for Kali—because that energy and service makes a difference!
