I post this no one at the restaurant is going to care. However, I did order some soup because I wasn’t feeling well, through DoorDash. I have no ability to heat up anything at my house right now so I just wanted some nice hot soup. They sent me half frozen soup, they never bothered to heat up. I don’t know why any restaurant would send out cold soup but it was extremely disappointing and I had to throw it away. Beware if you order from this restaurant, they do not care about quality.

I just want to say, I had my doubts about this place. However, when my fiance & I were sick in the beginning of 2026, all I wanted was soup and a sandwhich. I don’t know what magic was in those orders but you guys killed it. Flavor & all. You guys also have phenomenal breakfast that could get anyone out of a greenout/hangover. Will order again! Might pop by to dine in sometime soon

I didn’t dine in but the quality of food was horrible. I ordered the western omelet and it was horrible. There was hardly any meat or cheese, the vegetables took over the flavor content and there were no seasoning whatsoever on the potatoes. The biscuits tasted like they weren’t even cooked all the way and had a doughy texture

Food is good and nicely presented. The service is excellent. The restaurant could use some new tables and sturdy chairs but appears clean. The staff indulges us as a group of about 10 people once a month and never rushes us out.

It’s Thanksgiving, and I feel for the folks working today. That said, if you are going to be open, you need to be able to actually serve people. I was told a 1:33 serving time for my take out order, and at 2:11, after being completely ignored for 20 minutes, I was told my order hadn’t even been started, after 3 or 4 folks who were told later times came and went (I asked them). For management: YOU need to better organize the front line counter staff, the way you triage order prep, and train the people to address your customers directly. The place was busy, but there is NO EXCUSE for ignoring your customers for half an hour and then have to be reminded that they actually exist. And you were tipped up front. Do better.
Oh, and since it won’t let me respond to the generic Bob Evans Owner bot response, I’m adding this: I don’t want to go to your contact website so you can “address my concerns”. I told you what the problems were, and they aren’t just my concerns, they are the concerns of everyone ordering take out yesterday, and probably most days. I’m not looking for $ back. Do your job, improve, react in a tangible way to feedback, and everything will be better!

This place used to be the best, good service. Lately, it seems like there’s new employees, and they’re not very friendly, like they don’t care. The place is also a little messy. And it seems like it takes forever to get your food now
Also, notice employees arguing with each other.
But I am happy that it has the vegetables, beef soup back.

Update: Customer service was great. Food was much better than last time. Nice to know that they listen and read the reviews. Katy was great. She was very welcoming and inviting. My wife,daughter and I really enjoyed ourselves.

We just left here after having breakfast. It’s not often that I feel the need to leave a review, but our server, Tammy, was outstanding! It seemed as if the restaurant was short-staffed and that lady worked herself to death keeping up with her tables. And always with a smile on her face. Thanks, Tammy, and Merry Christmas!

We came to this Bob Evans for a quick dine in while headed back to Iowa. I had great expectations since I’ve been to a few Bob Evans but I was a little disappointed this time. I took one star off for what happened today. First and foremost our server was very pleasant. We were seated right away and as today is Memorial Day it was not even packed. We get our drinks but the food never came and when it did an hour or so later the chicken was burnt and over cooked in the inside. The chicken was chewy. To be honest it was not edible. The sides were great the fruit was fresh and the rolls and biscuits were delish. The server asked if the food was okay and normally I would just say it’s fine, eat and review but I couldn’t let this go. I couldn’t eat my chicken! Lol not sure what happened but management was very pleasant and they took really good care of us. I won’t let this experience stop me from coming back. I really like Bob Evans.
