Stopped in and was waiting quite a while to get seated. Couple in front of me was getting tired of waiting. A girl comes out and proceeds to help with register and says they are going to seat the couple in front of me. Ok. Never comes back to seat me and then comes to take over register. I stand there for at least another 5 minutes and still not seated. I proceed to walk out and was told “buh bye” in the most sarcastic way as I am walking out. I almost went back in there. That is rude as hell. Usually this place is great but being rude to because I couldn’t even get sat down and decided to leave is uncalled for. In case you want the time and date, it was Sunday, February 1, 2026 at 5:50pm when I walked out.

Bob Evan’s, where the biscuits are fluffier than a cloud on a lazy summer day, seemed to have lost a bit of its southern charm tonight. The farm-fresh vibe was alive and well, but the meal just didn’t hit the high notes. The chicken was drier than a prairie wind, and the mashed potatoes were more like a pale imitation of grandma’s.
The atmosphere, however, stayed true to its rustic roots – the country tunes softly playing in the background and the friendly smiles from the waitstaff were a comforting touch. I reckon it’s still a spot worth stopping by for a taste of home, just don’t set your hopes higher than a barn roof.

Wife and I stopped in for breakfast and was seated with friendly hostess. We were able to order and build our own breakfast.
I took a picture of mine.

We had a wonderful experience at the Wabash, Indiana location this evening. Our server, TC, was so kind and prompt and made my grandmother feel quite special for her 90th birthday celebration 🙂 He was awesome! The food and service were both extraordinary!! Highly recommend!!

I will begin my review with saying it was thanksgiving night. They closed at 7, me and my bf arrived at about 6:30. The hostess was nice but a server told her to stop seating tables. On the way to our table I counted 6 tables with no more than 5 people. They were fully staffed. I’m nice of server came over we ordered our drinks, we got sweet tea. It tasted like absolute dish water and looked like it too. We order food, our server never asked if we need anything between ordering and getting our meal. We got our meal and we tried to get her attention before she left the table but she actually ignored us. We were done with our food but two bites, we had to get new drinks and we didn’t get our bread until after our meal… our server was annoyed, rude and inappropriate. Once again they were fully staffed

Bob Evans usually has very good food, but today our chicken was over cooked, the carrots were cooked to mushy, and the rolls were stale. Disappointing. This was Bob Evans in Wabash IN.

My mom tried to order food but the waitress kept interrupting her and would try to speak what she wanted and even how she wanted it done. Then she asked for her bread to be warned up but she got it cold. My mom felt very rushed and so did I. When your waiting tables you should let customers speak.ñ
