The server who waited on our table exceeded my expectations. An older and former work cohort joined me for an early supper. My friend needed assistance, and the server was more than willing to assist. When served, our supper plates were full of hot food. No food on either plate was cold or warm. While eating, the server checked on us, making sure we were pleased or completing a request. The restaurant atmosphere was pleasant. We were easily able to talk with each other without having to speak loudly.

Lays start off by saying this was a huge let down. The grits, served with a shot of water, no im not joking, were raw still crunchy and clumped together. The biscuits were hard. Gravy was super salty. Bacon way undercooked. The only thing good was the tea and coffee. At least they took the food off my bill.

Food was lukewarm at best, cook doesn’t know what overeasy eggs are, two people ordered them and they both were fried hard (and cold) but the worst was the hash browns. They were grey and soggy and literally looked and taste like they had been sitting in a bowl of grease. Couldn’t and wouldn’t eat them. Waitress asked us if everything was OK as she continued to walk past us and never looked at us. By far the worst service and food I have ever had from a Bob Evans.

As world wide celebrities, we decided to stop in and try some of their I believe liberty bell specials. The portions were perfectly sized, since we do not each LARGE meals. The food tasted delicious. I had the turkey and stuffing plate. It came out hot from the kitchen, and was very tasty. The service was great, and she was always there for drink refills. Would most certainly eat here again.

They were pretty busy for a Wednesday night but still came through with excellent food as always. Even portionedmy sides separate so my fried chicken didn’t get soggy! Also Aidan, up front was great with all the customers, even went out of his way to find me a side of butter.

Really long ticket times on our food. The host was amazing and was doing most of the work. He deserves a raise! Our waitress was ok but I overheard her giving that host a hard time for not doing more. We barely seen her.

Ordered soup and salad with rolls. I was given my warm rolls about 15 minutes before the rest of my food came so they were cold when the rest of my order arrived. We were 1 of 3 tables present on the whole restaurant, yet the wait staff was nowhere in site to correct issues. When I received my salad all the toppings (tomatoes, cheese, cucumbers) came in little containers sitting on top of my lettuce and I had to assemble everything myself. The cucumbers were several days expired (my visit was on 7/3, cucumbers dated 6/28). We also asked for a to-go tea, waited nearly 10 minutes, but the waitress never returned. I will say, the one good thing was that the managers/assistant managers did in fact seem appalled when I brought this to their attention so hopefully this has been remedied.
