I had a very nice experience today November 24, 2925 at the Bob Evans located near Lettuce Lake Park in Hillsborough County Tampa. There was no waiting for a table, the parking was free, and the food came right away! We had the lunch special that they offered from 2-5 pm. The food was delicious!

Service was slow. Kitchen kept messing up orders. We could hear the servers and managers trying to get them to fix our meals and other peoples meals. Took forever before we got our food. Waitress was friendly. Food was up & down. Some dishes were amazing while others ok. My biscuits were cold & crusty plus my sandwich was late. Usually Bob Evan’s is a place to go.

Stayed across the street at the Sleep in and decided to try their food. As soon as you walked in – the food smelled amazing. They make fresh banana nut bread and other types of cakes daily. They have cute sweets to purchase up front along with some T-shirts. The staff members were nice and the food was really good especially for the price! Definitely recommend. This was my first time trying and was impressed! Doesn’t happen often!

I just ordered the double cheeseburger with grilled onions with french fries and carrots. For dessert I got a piece of chocolate cake that comes with one scoop of ice cream.
For a drink I got the peach something lemonade. With a 20% tip this come out to $33. The cheeseburger which had two double patties and hardly any grilled onions on it to speak of was pretty small! It is sort of like a Wendy’s regular $2 burger or something like that comparable to that. If you’re thinking it’s going to be like most restaurants like Applebee’s or even IHOP or any place like that even Denny’s it’s not even close! The piece of chocolate cake is about 2 in wide by 2 in wide and still have frozen!
The amount of fries was okay about normal and crispy as advertised and tasted pretty good! But as for the burger and chocolate cake don’t waste your time! $33 and I’m still hungry! I ordered to pick up and it was done on time and service was good with a smile! This was absolutely like a lunch instead of dinner! If you get a double cheeseburger at Applebee’s, IHOP, Denny’s, any of the steakhouses, Culver’s..ect, you will be stuffed after eating the cheeseburger and fries.

If you love the country cozy diner atmosphere. Then this is the place for you. Bob Evans is like grandma and grandpa’s kitchen. You feel the southern love when you step through the doors. The staff are so very friendly and they are very accommodating to dietary needs. The banana bread is the best I’ve ever tasted. The food was awesome! Please give this place a try. You will not regret it. ❤️ By the way. We spent around $45 for three of us to eat. Very reasonable.

This was my first review. I decided to give it another chance but dining in this time. I will never return to this location fir dine in or takeout ever again. The biscuits were hard as a brick. The server never asked how are fiod was. We had to ask for refills. Any good server would have asked about the nasty biscuits on the plate.ordered a delivery order. I had no issues with the actual delivery. The potato soup was disgusting. It was so runny and had no flavor. This is one of my favorite things and I threw it away it tasted so bad. My brother’s first time trying it, I told him not to judge it based on this one. No crackers, butter, plasticware. Most of the rolls were ok, there were a couple overcooked. But the biscuits and gravy were good so I gave it a 3 instead of a 1. I’ve dined in at this location and other locations and I know this is not typical Bob Evans. Just gonna chalk it up to I guess they were having a bad today.

I don’t cook so bob evans is always my go to for a Thanksgiving dinner and all this food for under $ 20.00 bob evans always does a perfect job and I appreciate everything they do absolutely 10 star’s

We come here a lot but if it’s busy be prepared for a staff that will not fill your drinks or ask if you need anything and the food will be warm to cold. When it’s not busy the food is hot and the service is better.

When you walk in, you see nostalgic items..like a little country store.
The food was ok. The food quality definitely did not match the prices. No seasoning/flavor.
Our server was friendly. That was a plus. Check your receipts if you split the bill. I was charged for an item that should have gone to the other bill.
