We were traveling & visiting with friends and Bob Evans is a great place for a meal. Not an “expedited nutrition emporium” sit down food available for any meal, anytime of the day. And for the elderly in out group the kids menu met their needs.

I have never been to a dirtier restaurant. Mold is growing on the inside window partition. I was the first customer of the day and it appears the place was never cleaned at closing the night before. The candy for sale st the register was in a dirty display. The manager had long hair touching her shoulders and no hair net. She was all around the prep area. It took 15 minutes to get my check after the waitress acknowledged I was finished. My food was not hot.

Today was a surprisingly frustrating experience at Bob Evans, a place we normally visit weekly and have always enjoyed. Unfortunately, this visit was quite different. We waited for about 15 minutes without being acknowledged—no greeting, no water, not even eye contact from the staff( not sure if this is due to we are being Asian). We even noticed guests who arrived 10 minutes after us being promptly served. The atmosphere felt unusually off, and the lack of basic courtesy was disappointing. When we raised our concerns at the front desk, the only response we received was a brief ‘we’re sorry,’ with no further explanation or effort to address the issue. Overall, it was a very frustrating and disheartening experience.

I normally love Bob Evan’s, I’ve been a huge fan since my family started going when I was young. However, the food took an eternity during a slow lunch time. My server finally brought out our drinks maybe two minutes before the food came out. She was extremely unpleasant. I’ve not had service that bad in a long time. The food also wasn’t hot, which felt really insulting after waiting so long just to get a cup of coffee. I ordered a wild fire ranch for my fries, but we were literally almost done eating before we finally got it. It was just super disappointing compared to the great service we’ve gotten at any other Bob Evans.

We always have a good meal here. I have never gotten mediocre or less than average quality of the food. I feel kind of awkward taking the kids there sometimes since the crowd usually seems to be a lot of older dinners. The kids are great out but I don’t want to disturb anyone dinner.
Can be slow on the service sometimes but waitstaff always friendly and accommodating.
