Was a great atmosphere with great service and of course being a Chicago bar was even more impressive watching the game Bears might have lost but it was definitely well worth it. The wings were so crispy and delicious and like I said before bartender/waitress was amazing. Really was no issue with service or seating it was spot on. Great place to go. It was good to be somewhere where nobody was rude or inconsiderate. Everybody said hi and like I said was just a great place to hang out and of course watch the Bears!!

Bob Dobb’s Bar & Grill is one of those rare local gems that instantly makes you feel like a regular, even on your first visit. The bartender is top-notch friendly, attentive, and clearly knows her craft, whether you’re ordering a classic drink or just grabbing a cold beer.
The atmosphere is everything you want from a true neighborhood bar: laid-back, welcoming, and full of character. No pretentious vibes, just good people, good drinks, and that authentic Tucson local feel that’s hard to find these days.
If you’re looking for a place with great service, solid drinks, and a genuine community atmosphere, Bob Dobb’s is absolutely worth stopping by. This is the kind of spot you keep coming back to.

We came as a group just for drinks so I can’t comment on the food. The bar staff were nice and the beer was cold and great. Ambiance is “college-bar” casual and not aspirational. Great for the guys and some beers, but not where I’d take a date.

This little, and it is small, spot is different than most places in Tucson. Very friendly neighborhood vibe. Most people there know each other but they were really friendly with my friend and I. The wings were really good. Get the hot wings. I was warned that they were really spicy but they had just the right amount of heat. Unfortunately, the bacon Mac and cheese wasn’t good. The beer was cold and the bartender was super friendly and personable. If I lived in the area, I would go almost every night. Check it out for a different vibe. Oh, two older guys almost fought but they ended up being cool.

I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and it definitely was fried. Almost too much. The meat inside was not very tender. Their homemade chips we’re okay if a little burnt. The biggest challenge they had is now with the popular restaurants right next door. Friday night was pretty dismal in terms of a crowd. I’m sure there are other times when it’s okay, but I was disappointed and won’t be returning.

Small, neighborhood place in Tucson. Went in to watch Arizona basketball, only issue was game was streaming and kept buffering. Older crowd, I’d say majority were over 50. Outside patio. Had a club sandwich and fries, good food. Good bartenders and staff.

First time at Bob Dobbs I’ve been in the area several times, just thought I’d give it a try. Really enjoy these type of bars, especially before noon. No loud blaring music. In an instant I saw Guinness on tap, which was a must! At $7 a pint, well worth it. So much better than across the street at boarderlands for $9 per pint. Don’t care if it’s craft beer. Not worth $9. Started talking to a guy next to me fascinating stories. He had met Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger, and a host of others. Had eaten breakfast earlier, but just had to try a couple menu items. Had the onion rings, and soup of the day, tomato bisque. The onion rings were perfectly golden brown, not over or under cooked, and a very good sized order. The soup came with toasted bread with melted cheese. The food was good. The service was excellent. Most enjoyable.

Burnt bun and “medium rare burger”.
One server trying to cover the whole restaurant.

A good neighborhood dive bar. Most of the customers are regulars. Good bar food and lots of TVs to watch sports.
