Really good and tasty food options! The service can be really slow, especially when having a bigger party, but the food is good. I recommend the bread as a starter and the pork chops. Both delicious!

We three gals had a wonderful girl’s night on Valentine’s Day. Mitch Bouton, the dining room manager coordinated everything. Jean Arcel served us with attentiveness and grace. I have dined at many establishments in the valley over the years and have had great service but Mitch and Jean are simply the best. Our meals were fantastic! decadent, really. The ambience was lovely. Such a treat. Thank you so much.

This restaurant is in the Whitefish Lake Lodge and it is beautifully decorated throughout for Christmas. We had reservations for 7 last night and got there 5 minutes before. We were told we had to wait and we could go sit at the bar and get a drink while we waited. At 7:30 we asked the bartender if she could find out why we had not been called to our table. She said we could cash out and go back to the entrance to wait. Then the host came and took us to our table. We ordered bread and crab cakes for starters and at 8:30 we asked why they hadn’t brought us our appetizers. The waiter left and came back with dry bread and cold crab cakes . We were halfway through the appetizers when our entrees came. My meal of elk loin was delicious and I asked the waiter to compliment the chef. I feel that $75 for just a beef steak with no sides is a bit overpriced (my guy had that). All in all, the atmosphere was great, the food was great, but service, not so much. We were celebrating a special occasion this night but the evening events dampened our enjoyment.

Loved this place. The staff was lovely and professional. The environment was definitely classic lodge. There’s indoor dining with large windows that over look the lake. The large fire places make for a warm dark ambiance. There’s valet parking available or you can park across the street and walk over. We came for drinks one day and sat out on the patio overlooking the water. The gas fire pits helped to cut down some of the lake wind chill (we visited in May). We thought it was a cute place so we made dinner reservations.

The food was some of the best we’ve had in the area. We enjoyed the elk meatballs and bone marrow for appetizers. The elk meatballs were delicious and paired well with the huckleberry sauce. (Definitely a heavy pour on the sauce but no ones complaining). And the bone marrow was served with locally made bread. Yum. For dinner we had the Chilean sea bass on a bed of summer squash risotto and lemon seasoned broccolini and the elk loin with parsnip and blackberries/huckleberries, fingerling potatoes and fried mushrooms. We couldn’t recommend either of these dishes any more. Both were phenomenal. They blended well both in flavor and in texture. The portions were appropriate.

For dessert we had the huckleberry-blueberry pie and this pandan creme brulee that were both out of this world. The pie has a beautiful flakey crust and the combination of blueberries and huckleberries was such a nice balance. It almost cut down on some of that overly sweet taste that some pies have. The new take on the creme brulee was mouth watering. It came with a key lime mouse that was dense and subtle. The toasted coconut flakes added a texture and sweetness that I didn’t expect to love as much as I did.

I almost had to be rolled out of the restaurant as I finished everything. Go. Eat the all the food. It’s absolutely worth it.

Our bill came out to $250 which I feel is entirely reasonable. That was with 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 desserts and a total of 5 alcoholic beverages.

Outstanding place to eat and relax. The food is delicious and the service top notch. We were guest of the hotel for a few days and they delivered. The Lodge at Whitefish is amazing and we highly recommend this location for the whole family. The offer soany things and in the summer even more to do as their Marina is open and Stand up paddle board, kayaks and other water equipment is offer. The Boat club is inside the lodge and offer Burguer night plus liveusoc Wednesdays. Also liveusoc on Fridays and Saturdays plus a killer view of the lake at sunrise and sunset. We had a phenomenal stay and great food, beer and wine at the Boat Club absolutely an unforgettable time.

I’ve stayed at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake before, and I have to say, the hotel is fantastic—definitely one of my favorite places to stay in the area. If I recall correctly, the main restaurant is quite good too. However, my recent visit to the Tiki Bar by the pool with my cousin was a bit of a letdown. Not sure why the owners don’t have a dedicated listing for the Tiki Bar, so that is why I am placing this review under their main dining option.

The atmosphere and patio area of the Tiki Bar are quite pleasant, with plenty of umbrellas and a great view of the lake (though the bees looming around can be a bit of a bother). But unfortunately, the food left much to be desired, especially for the price.

We started with a couple of appetizers: the guacamole and chips, and the Ceviche with shrimp and fried plantain chips. Both were okay but nothing special. The guacamole had no spice and was not presented well—it was just plopped on the plate, making it difficult to scoop. They really should have used a ramekin. The Ceviche was dry and lacked flavor; it too would have been better served in a ramekin with the juices, accompanied by plantain chips, rather than as a dry scoop on a chip.

We also ordered two pizzas, which were just okay, but the dough and crust tasted like cheap bread. Speaking of bread, I ordered the Cubano, and it was a disappointment. The sandwich came on really gross and cheap bread, the meat was dry, there was only a single pickle, and overall, it was just boring.

To top it off, when we were ready to leave, we asked for a pizza box to take the leftovers with us. Unfortunately, our server completely forgot, and never came back to clear the plates, which only attracted more bees.

Overall, the dining experience was pretty mediocre and definitely not worth our hard-earned money. I hope they can make some improvements because the setting deserves better food and service.

We had a reservation but had to wait 20 min before we got a table. There were plenty of open tables, but they needed cleared. We finally got a table and service was so slow. We waited another 10 minutes just to order drinks. After ordering food, another 15-20 min passed when the server came & told us the kitchen had just now shared they were out of one of our meals, so we placed a new order. A couple minutes later, food came out for the rest of our table. One of the dishes had cheese when “no dairy” was specifically ordered. Our server didn’t check on us, so we had to wave our server down multiple times throughout the meal. It took us a while before we could share the issue and order another round of drinks. We finally received our meals for two of us. The other person was already done eating as all they ordered was a bowl of soup. Food was good, but service sucked. When here over the summer, we had a similar experience with service- slow, ignored. It’s really disappointing. We won’t be back.
