This place is a Shoals (and Martin County) institution! The absolute best place to come on a hot summer day and have a juicy hamburger and malt shake! My Grandma would take me here when I was a kid and coming back and having a shake always brings back her memory. My family was at a robotics competition at Shoals High School and found a pamphlet for Bo-Mac’s. We ordered a sampling of items including a Coney dog, cheeseburger, and some Spicy Nacho Nuggets. It was all solid, as you would expect from my drive-in. But, I was extremely impressed with the fried chicken. Fresh, and juicy. Highly, highly recommend.

Was hoping for a better experience. Food was okay at best. Onion rings were as thin as pasta and quite overpriced. Burger was okay, could’ve been cooked longer and the patties were pretty mishapened.
The tenderloin was an absolute joke. Totally rubber and completely cold. I ended up throwing this in the trash.
Fried mushrooms were mid. Fried jalapenos weren’t very good either.
The chili was pretty unique and the best thing I had tried.
I would try the Rox burger again and hopefully it would be cooked and assembled better the next time.
The atmosphere was awesome. Very classic establishment and the carhops were incredibly kind. Great stop for the family and I bet the locals adore it.
I’d give it another shot overall.

You have to love an old school drive in diner. They’ll take your order at your car, or you can sit at one of the tables outside. Friendly, quick service. I really enjoyed my mint chocolate chip shake and tenderloin sandwich.

Repeat visit. Stopped in on a blustery fall day, wasn’t going to let the weather stop me from sitting outside right next to the highway (that’s part of the experience here).
Excellent and immediate service, ordered chili and a shake. Chili was tasty with big chunks of beef and tomatoes plus a slice of melted cheddar, perfect for an autumn day. Thick shake, I let it melt and enjoyed it on the way home.
I can see why Bo-Mac’s is a favorite stop for bikers and Jeeps. I’ll be back.

We Stopped on the way home from Story, IN the place was almost full. I had the Burger with ff. And Syd had Onion rings and mushrooms and two drinks milkshake and a flavored drink… Everything was really good we will be Back.

Food was good, not great but pretty good. The onion rings were tasty, even if they were cold. I also ordered a BLT w/ extra crispy bacon. Bacon seemed to be a cheaper quality. Service was good at first, waitress was friendly and knowledgeable, but we waited a while for our food, and got it before we got our drinks, and had to go remind waitress to bring them. Otherwise, it was a cute little stop with decent food.
