We’ve been coming here for years. It’s been through a few owners, but much of the staff has stayed the same, and the food has remained excellent! Unfortunately the liquor license, late night dining, and karaoke are no longer part of the experience, this is still a great place !

Food was delicious, and a good value. Ordered Moo Goo Gai Pan combination platter, the portion was enough for at least two meals. 6-28-23 Decided to try the Shrimp Toast and enjoyed the Pork Spring Rolls. This was the best Shrimp Toast I have tried, so much SHRIMP. Yummy. (Sorry the Spring Roll has a bite out.)

My waitress tonight was so horrible was not tentative to my table was on her phone at the next table to me. Not one time ask me did I need anything. When I need some orange sauce she disappeared and never came back I had to get a couple packets from another table. I repeatedly had to ask for water which that should have been on demand. Upon leaving she hand me my check then ask me ( second later) excuse me did you sign I told her no give me a minute I will sign. With all that being said no tip was giving I explained to why she started cursing use the F Bomb and I tried to let her know to give better service you will get a Tip cursing will not make things good for her snd this company

The place has lots of food items and plenty of choices. I usually keep to dishes I know of and I have my own favorite Vietnamese/ Chinese restaurant to go to. We had friends who invited us and had several dishes they ordered for us. I had beef szechuan with fried rice, was very good. Only issue was it wasn’t busy and waitress are slow bringing food and we had constantly reminding them to bring water. Their timing is slow but food is good.

I’ve always wanted to try Bo Loong and finally got the opportunity after an afternoon cruise with my wife on the Goodtime III. We were the only patrons dining in at the time, so it started out as a nice pleasant evening. However, the atmosphere became a little more chilly upon being seated. My wife and I both got the feeling we were intruding on the staffs’ peace and quiet, as we were not greeted at all, nor was there even a small smile on the woman who seated us and also became our waitress. Except for a few moments after we left, she was not at all a very friendly individual at all. She took our rather large order as if annoyed by all of our choices and the fact she would be stuck serving us. The food began to arrive quickly, but in disarray. My wife got her Won Ton soup, then came my Shrimp with Snow Pea Pods entree, before the egg rolls, shrimp toast and my larger Shrimp Noodle soup. Lastly, came my wife’s Pork with Chinese Vegetables. This caused some of our food to end up being slightly cool when we finally got to it. Asking for a fork and my wife already having opened her chop sticks to stir her tea, provoked an irritated sigh from our waitress who was apparently upset with my wife wasting a good pair of chop sticks. Nevertheless, we held on to hopes for good food, and we were not disappointed. The Shrimp Noodle soup was wonderful, with a tasty broth and dumplings made of shrimp and a tender green vegetable, which tasted like Bok Choy. The Shrimp Wanton soup was again filled with a wonderful broth and delicious dumplings. The egg rolls were a bit of a disappointment, as was the Shrimp Toast, but both our entrees were outstanding, as was the Yung Chow rice (if I’m remembering the name correctly), which was some of the best fried rice I’ve ever eaten. The whole meal was very satisfying. Now getting out of the place became an issue. Though there was no one in the place but us and while our waitress held a long conversation in Chinese with another waitress, we sat and waited for the bill. About 15 minutes later, after a few hard stares from us, they ended their talk and we were brought the bill, but no fortune cookie, which considering our experience up to that point, wasn’t a surprise. Packing our leftovers was also another seemingly difficult task for our waitress and her friend. She took our money, I left not a usual lower tip and off we want. A younger man who worked there was the first person who offered us a smile and good wishes. Our waitress finally seemed to snap out of her funk, when she held the door for us and wished us a good evening. All in all, a very odd night at Bo Loong, but despite some negatives, we do recommend that others go there to experience some very good food.

I eat here all the time. They have an American menu and an authentic Chinese menu. The food is always good! Especially the seafood!

Very traditional Chinese food and experience. They do have one or two American Chinese classics but I’d in courage you to try something new. There are a few pictures on the back of the menu but I chose to Google what I was about to eat! The staff was friendly and very fast.

When we came in there was no dim sum available, so we just had the appetisers and main dishes. Me and my friend both had chow fen (thick noodles) and they were both very bland. No spice and no salt. My friend had fried rice and yet again the sauce was very underwhelming. There are better options for authentic Chinese food in the area! We all paid $25 for disappointing food and service.

We haven’t been to Bo Loong in a while, but one day with big crowds at the other place, we have it a go. Menu isn’t as extensive as the other place, and not quite as refined in some dishes, but their crispy fried noodles with tofu was terrific, and I really killed their hot sauce, it had a bit of heat to it!
