Fantastic little diner. The tenderloin is a classic, size of a dinner plate but served on a normal sized bun. And they offer an even bigger one! The batter was great, fries crispy, and I always get a little smile when I see that diet mountain dew is available! The prices are extremely fair and breakfast offered all day so you can’t go wrong. I’ll be stopping by every time I’m in the area and need to grab a quick bite.

12/14 – We were heading out to breakfast when our boys heard us, so they came along. We took them to have a diner experience and this was a lot of fun.
The waitress on duty was friendly and made both boys feel welcomed. She made sure to go over the menu and explain how it works. They both picked their own meal and placed their order.
My wife and have been here before so we had a little experience. The one thing I’ll point out is if you’re here for the first time make sure you know the difference between two egg and four egg omelette otherwise you’ll have a lot food to eat or take. I order the two egg omelette and I’m a big man. It’s filling.
While we waited we people watched and had a nice conversation. They asked questions on the place and why it’s cash only. Nothing too big to answer just killing time.
The food came out and our kids meal was a full plate of pancakes and sausage. He was in heaven when he saw the size of them. He had fun trying to eat it all.
Our older boy went with the French Toast and he enjoyed every bite. As for us, we always have a pleasant time eating here. We try a different omelette if not a meal.
The ladies are always friendly on the ball and you’re never out of water, coffee or soda. If you don’t see it ask because they may have it in the back and they don’t mind helping you.
One of the cooks will bring out your food. The entire staff there works like a great team.
Everyone is always peaceful. No one ever has a complaint or leaves upset. This is a place I think everyone treats each other kind.

Our server was prompt, friendly and attentive to our table while taking care of an almost full house.We all had the Super Tenderloin sandwich that was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I liked the atmosphere and “Diner Feel”.I observed other guests food coming out of the kitchen and it all looked good. I will definitely be back in the future.

Good food at great prices. I’ve had a couple of the omelets and the haystack and everything has been great. The breakfast offerings are permutations of the typical American breakfast ingredients. They kept us topped off on coffee so we had the energy to tackle the day.
Keep in mind that they are cash only. That keeps the prices down, but you just have to be ready for it.

Just stopped in here to grab a bite for breakfast. Walked in with another family. Waitress says pick a table, they picked one and we picked one. 2 other people came in after us and we were not even acknowledged. Waitress looked at us several times but never acknowledged us. Normally good food but service slacks!! No worries Shellie’s was happy to serve us!!

B&N Diner is a throwback to better times. A classic diner feel with great friendly service. Most customers are regulars who are greeted by their first name when they come in. It’s cash ONLY here and I love that! Don’t worry tho there’s an ATM inside if you come in cashless. Oh, did I mention anything about their food? It’s EXCELLENT!! Looking forward to returning very soon! Server Maggie gets 5 ✨’s!!

*CASH ONLY* They do offer an ATM inside for a $1.00 charge, but just a heads up! It was so surprising to see hand sanitizer at the table the first time, but now I am surprised that other places dont offer such courtesy. The tenderloin is of course why I went. It was so delicious, grilled or fried! The diner is quite small but the employees help each other out and all of the patrons are smiling and interactive adding joy to the experience! This is worth the stop! Also coffee her is almost 2 dollars cheaper than other diners in Lafayette.

Not sure who the lady was that worked Friday night but she needs trained on people and how to work with the public. Even after the strange encounter when we walked in being told we couldnt sit at the table we choose I kept catching her staring at us. We were the only ones in their our drinks ran out. We choose the larger table bc we had friends still at the mall that were gonna join us. We told them to not come as we were told we ate not allowed to sit at the 5 top I stead of being asked if others were joining us. Do better
