We go here anytime we are passing through. Food is always spot on. Service is great and the outdoor seating is perfect! On weekends in the summer you will find someone strumming a guitar performing for the outdoor crowd. They also have a beer wall. Yes, a BEER WALL!!!! It’s like a pour your own beer buffet!! Then custom cocktails…..well… wonderful! Great place and it won’t break the bank!

We enjoyed lunch on the patio around noon on a perfectly sunny day. Great burgers, sandwiches, and home-made-beef stew! Our server was very friendly and efficient. She was also the bartender and hostess that day, so doing everything. She deserves a raise.

Had a pretty mid experience here. Cocktails were good, food was fine, tbh a little cold.. the service wasn’t great. they were rushing tables out for reservations.. but food took forever and servers rarely stopped by. Won’t be back.

Gastropub doesn’t even begin to describe how fantastic this food is. They have a world renowned chef. Tonight I started with their famous lemon drop martini which is phenomenal by itself. Then the soup special a red curry Thai chicken soup that was absolutely fantastic! Then we went with the pork belly wonton tacos. Omg I can’t even, they were so good!!!!!!! Rich and filling and delicious, and also “keto friendly” with the sweet taste of pickle and cilantro. It was a taste explosion that was borderline euphoric. But seriously, this was an amazing stop tonight. Our waitress Stephanie was amazing. The decor inside and outside is absolutely gorgeous. They have events that are fun to attend including a speakeasy night mid May. I am a fan of this place. I think I could eat there every night. If you haven’t been there put it on your bucket list. Lucas and Terry do a great job running this place. . A+. A+. Just came back to change this to six stars. Is that possible? We have been back since this post and it is every bit as good. Absolutely love this place!!!!!

The Best ever Beef Stew, amazing flavor, love when places make their own soup from scratch. This was so good & the Best ever French Dip sandwich mmm , the addition of cream cheese is absolutely delightful. Can’t wait to go back & try the dinner menu.

We dined on the patio Sunday afternoon. It was not at all busy and the service was awful. The waitress was very inattentive. She forgot things, mixed up orders and when reminded seemed annoyed.

I give it only 1 star because when I was in the men’s restroom, one of the kitchen staff came out of a stall – he left without washing his hands, yuck. Food was not hot. Short on wait staff – slow service.

We’d had a day full of errands in and around the Brainerd area. By late afternoon we still had our Costco trip ahead of us, but we were both feeling spent and weary from the day. We decided to look for a new happy hour location in Brainerd and found B Merri. The online reviews looked promising, and there were some vegetarian items on the menu so we blew off the Costco trip, crossed our fingers and headed north out of town.
The vibe was exactly what we were looking for, and the staff was friendly. Our waitress, Hannah, was devoted to making sure we were enjoying ourselves. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she offered us samples of IPAs she thought we might like (We did!) Our favorite was an IPA called “Old geezer” or something like that. Bright and refreshing. Hannah recommended the bruschetta platter. It was gorgeous and delicious. Quality shaved parm, fresh cherry tomatoes, halved and drizzled with balsamic, little baby smoked mozzarella balls, caramelized onions, fresh pesto with slices of bread that were soft and perfectly toasted with a light crunch. The chef made a specialty sandwich for us out of portabellas and Hannah recommended the sweet potato fries for the side. I cannot remember ever having better. Crispy and flavorful with a yummy sauce for dipping.
We highly recommend B Merri and look forward to returning! Thanks to Hannah and Chef for turning our afternoon around!
