This bar wasn’t what I expected but I had alot of fun playing pool and meeting people. It’s a little bit more of a dive bar than the website makes it seem but I still appreciated the vibe. It has a very down to earth, local bar feel.

This is a top of the line dive bar. The food is all quite good quality. The 2 for 1 drafts on happy hour is the cheapest thing you’ll find in Boulder. Service is a bit slow but what do you expect for a shady place like the tavern? If that’s your cup of tea you’ll love it like I do.

On a review kick right now so I had to hit up my local spot. Been coming here to play pool for 7 years. This is a great little dive bar and the best billiards in Boulder. Staff is chill and on point. Vibe is unpretentious and local. Come here is you like to drink, shoot pool, and be with down-to-earth people. I wish they didn’t improve the place recently as there’s much more going on here now 🙂 My little spot’s blown up. My problem right!? The Tavern rocks. Stay low-key.

Just to be fair, they hosted the Boulder Browns Backers for the 2019 and 2021 NFL seasons. We had a great time as a club at the location. They food is really great too! Sadly, they will not be hosting us this year due to not getting the NFL Sunday Ticket. So to all Cleveland fans looking to watch our Browns, this will not be the place this year. To all football fans, the Bluff Street website is not correct… they do not have the NFL Sunday Ticket. You will need to look elsewhere to watch your team.

Honestly disturbing, my bad day is not your’s to make. Won’t be back. Too bad my friend had such a great time there previously. * I can post the picture and report to the health department great rebutle* better back down before you create a real issue for yourself. He deliberatly messed with food we were not able to eat it because he was ubset that my friedn wanted to take off ham and add bacon. We were met with real nasty respond when politely asking for the sides that were asked for when the order was placed.* post edit. They’re was hair and spit in our food but looks like your disturbing trash bar shut down any was so *-_’-‘_-*

This stop was an awesome find for a tasty quick burger and cheap brew ($4 Avery brews on Friday) after getting into Boulder from out of town. Their service is a little slow, but they’re totally up front with that right away. As far as I’m concerned, Bluff Street is a worth-it dive spot to check out for a long afternoon of beers and food with friends.

Came here for the pool tables and was disappointed. $10/hr for substandard bar boxes is steep. Probably should have gone with coin operated. Good customer service during our brief interaction. Good dive vibes.

Don’t listen to the bad reviews. I read them and went anyway since I just moved here and it is close to my house. I flipping love it here. 2 for 1’s for happy hour! Ping pong and fussball and a bunch of pool tables. Sunday is football heaven with all games being played and decent bloody mary’s. All the food I have had has been good to great. Garlic Fries and wings split between two people was perfect! I don’t know about the Ian dude people were talking about in the other reviews. Everyone I met staff and patrons have been awesome. Especially a guy named Bear. All in all this is my bar.

Had the best time at this place just in the middle of the day during the week. Mace is a wonderful owner – made this out-of-town girl feel so welcome! I am driving all the way back to Boulder Saturday just to go to this place again!!! Definitely give this place a try!
