The pizza side is a 5. Great pizza and friendly staff at the counter. The pizza is to go only. The bistro side is a different story. My family and I have come in here before and sat so long without being helped that other patrons stood up and got the server and told them to help us. The service has never been great here and the food is meh. It does have an OK bar if you want to have a drink.

Went on a date here- we tried the clam chowder, spinach and artichoke dip, shrimp scampi, and cod (which had delicious dill butter overtop) all of which were phenomenal. Everything had so much flavor. It was a busy Tuesday night and had a lively ambiance which I loved. We finished off the night with a great espresso martini. 10/10 would recommend.

I got to go in during a soft opening night. My husband is from the area but we are in no way related to the owners by friend or family…. We just called to ask if they had dine-in and because some of the owners’ friends hadn’t come in, they said they would be happy to have us.
The food was great!! I went to this place last summer and wasn’t completely sold on it because it was basically just pizzas and subs, which isn’t really my thing. I really wanted some good stuff that could be local like some fish, beef, or other produce. This new menu did not disappoint! They started us out with some amazing garlic bread that we got to dip in olive oil with herbs. I got the panko crusted walleye with garlic butter caper sauce, fingerling potatoes, and green beans. My husband got the pepper encrusted steak tenderloin (real name is French I can’t pronounce) with cheddar potatoes and green beans. Everything was cooked well and seasoned to perfection. I don’t know how they did it but my fish stayed hot to the last bite. I could eat those potatoes every day! The green beans were still slightly crunchy and fresh tasting just the way I like them. Lots of other stuff on the menu looks good too so I’ll have to come back (beer based ribs, you’re next!!).
The drinks were tasty and fast. I got a margarita (which was yum!!), and then said bartender’s choice something fruity…. No idea what it was but it looked like the water of torch lake and was also very tasty. They don’t really have a drink menu, but they have a full bar. I’m not very well versed in mixed drinks, so if I were to critique one thing it would be that I’d love to see a mixed drink menu to help me decide.

WOW! We recently enjoyed a pizza and Caesar salad on the takeout pizza side. Pizza was beautiful and out of this world! The dough was so light and tasty and the toppings were quality all the way. We also had an outstanding Caesar salad which had the purrrrfect amount of garlic, cheese and dressing, the best I’ve had in years. There are two restaurants in this building, the pizzeria is mostly a carryout place. But we wanted to eat in, and there were a couple of tables where we could do just that. It felt like eating at a friend’s kitchen. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as we exchanged conversation back and forth. I was drawn to this place by a pizza photo posted online by another guest and ours looked just like that!

Wow! Wow wow! We came for pizza and we got PIZZA!! The owner Jason was there and gave us great advice on the area as we are from Ohio we’re up for vacation with our camper, bikes and kayaks. The food and service service was just amazing

Pizza is great… so if you don’t care about service, eat here. Called at 5:59 and ordered 4 large pizzas for a group of 15 hungry people and was told 30 minutes. I arrived at 6:35 and was told it’s not ready. I wait another 10 minutes and see a woman getting about 6 large pizzas from the oven and think sure that’s got to be mine, so as she’s putting them in the warmer I say “are any of those mine by chance?” And she snaps “I don’t know! What’s your name?” I respond and she just says “nope” and walks away. Okay fine, I wait another 10 minutes then someone else walks up and I ask how much longer because I’d been waiting almost an hour and was quoted 30 minutes. She asks my name and says “nope you’ve only been waiting 28 minutes” and walks away. I pull up my phone and look because am I losing my mind? I called at 5:59, it’s now 6:53. After a few more minutes of waiting, she walks back up and looks in the warmer and realizes someone screwed up the orders and wrote the wrong name on my order and it had been ready in the warmer after all. If the first girl would have taken the time to look instead of dismissing me, this could all have been avoided.
All in all, terrible experience for us and we will be continuing with pizza from the river shack for years to come.

Fantastic pizza! Crust is very light and flaky. Cheese, toppings, and sauce are all top quality. Cheesy bread is also top notch!
