Had a table for 3 last night, and everything we were served was delicious and perfectly prepared. Steak, chicken, crab cakes and sides were all just right. It was a very busy night and our food did take awhile, but servers kept our drinks fresh and it was all very friendly. Hardly noticed the wait. This place is a real gem. Wish I could come more often. Also despite the crowd the noise level was very reasonable.

We were thrilled with our experience at Blue Gills! The atmosphere is definitely better than when it was The Main Street. We sat on the deck and felt totally relaxed. The wait staff was attentive, food portions large and everything was tasty! We will definitely be returning.

Staff is amazing. Josh is the best. The food is always a culinary delight!! The only place I will get ahi tuna. It’s absolutely fantastic! I always end up getting the ahi tuna salad with the house citrus vinaigrette… it makes my tastebuds dance with joy! Perfect combination. Every other dish I’ve had has been beyond expectations. Highly recommend!

Traveling up from Harrisburg, we were in the area visiting family. I found this place on Yelp, saw the high rating, and we decided to try it. I loved this place! There’s a large lot, so parking is easy. We were greeted promptly and warmly by the hostess. The interior is clean and bright with an appropriate seashore vibe. Our waiter was prompt and very friendly. He even used, “Excuse my reach,” if he had to go across the table to deliver a meal or pick up plates. It’s not necessary, I guess, but I really appreciated that and immediately pegged him as professional and great at his job, which he was. I wish I could remember his name to give a personal shout-out. Everything we had was delicious! Being from Louisiana, my cousin let me try the shrimp on her poboy since I’m an “expert.” Theu were SO good – fresh and plump, not dry at all. My aunt had a reuben, which she really enjoyed. I had a club which was ginormous and delicious! The meat, in particular, was so flavorful, which can be a problem with cold cuts sometimes. Not here! The fries were some of the best I’ve had. They’re hand cut, which is something I really like, and they were perfectly seasoned. We all agreed we would definitely return when we are back in the area. Total thumbs up for us!

The buffalo chicken salad was delicious. The wait staff were attentive and polite. There’s construction going on, just pass the restaurant, with road closed signs. The parking lot is still accessible though. I highly recommend Bluegills!

The staff is very friendly and attentive. It is a comfortable atmosphere. If you visit I recommend the cabbage and ham soup which is delicious and their White Russian cocktail keeps me coming back… It’s awesome.
