Thanks for posting on fb. You are our favorite place.
During our travels through town, we made a stop in the late afternoon based on a recommendation from a local business owner. We ordered an iced sugar-free latte, tea, a blueberry muffin, and a carrot cheesecake to share, as we had enjoyed a salad for an early lunch. The muffin was warm and moist, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. The carrot cheesecake featured a thick layer of carrot cake topped with cheesecake and a delicate layer of icing. All of our choices were delicious without being overly sweet.
Service
Our service was both prompt and friendly, and our order was accurate. Additionally, all the extras, such as straws, forks, and napkins, were readily available.
Atmosphere
The eclectic ambiance was delightful. I appreciated how the building’s historical elements were showcased and embraced. Both the dining room and restrooms were clean and tastefully decorated.
PASS!
Cappuccino was balanced and the danish was tasty. Vibes are local and friendly with local art on the walls.
I’m glad we have a good to bakery for my cream cheese fix. Loved it !
Yes, the coffee was great. Smooth, flavorful, expertly made. I sipped it like the refined adult I pretend to be. But let’s talk about the real star of the show: the brownie cheesecake.
This wasn’t just a dessert. This was a full-blown religious experience in a paper wrapper.
One bite in and I blacked out. When I came to, I was halfway through it and whispering “where have you been all my life” like I was in a Nicholas Sparks movie. It’s rich. It’s gooey. It’s like a brownie and a cheesecake fell in love during a Hallmark Christmas special and had a baby sent directly from dessert heaven.
I don’t know what kind of sugar sorcery they’ve got going on back there, but I’m convinced they’ve struck some sort of sacred culinary deal with a higher power. I’d sell state secrets for another slice. I’d cancel plans. I’d fake a family emergency just to go get it again.
Do yourself a favor. Go to Bluebird. Get the brownie cheesecake. And prepare to re-evaluate everything you thought you knew about baked goods.
10/10. Would risk my lactose intolerance again.
