I happened to stumble into this little bakery yesterday, But it’s important to me to take the time to leave them a great review because from the moment I walked in, I was greeted by every employee with a smile, The chicken salad sandwich on croissant that I ordered was the best I have ever had and I love chicken salad so I’ve tried a lot of different places at this point! It was just such a friendly, welcoming environment And I will definitely be back!

Excellent hometown bakery. No shortcuts here. Their pies and quiches are great, and scones are great. But, best of all, on Friday and Saturday they make these sticky buns that are absolutely singular in this town. Be careful…they’re addictive. And don’t overlook lunchtime! Their soups are always good. Enjoy!

A lovely little place that reminds me of my grandmother’s house. Whole lot of old ladies like to hang out here for brunch and whatnot. I got the sandwich-soup combo that was just OK for the price. The Italian sausage soup was yummy.

I fell in love the moment I came here, greeted with displays of various pastries and treats I had never tried. I got three things- a white chocolate biscotti, a raspberry scone, and a spinach + bacon quiche slice.
Biscotti- 5/5, very crumbly and delicious, the flavor is subtly sweet.
Scone- 6/5, the moment I took a bite I couldn’t stop smiling. It’s soft, sweet, and with the absolute perfect amount of jelly. I would come here just for the scone.
Quiche- 3/5, might be more of a problem with me since I had never tried a quiche before, but it was just a bit too wet and not cooked as much as I would have liked. Not all bad though, the spinach and bacon were delicious in it.
Overall, this is a very charming place with great food/snacks and very patient and kind staff. Would come here again any day.

I just adore Glendale! And bluebird bakery is one of the reasons why. It is a great little café to have lunch or just to have some coffee and dessert. Although they do not offer any other coffee drinks other than drip coffee – it is really good coffee. I also like it that they have the option to purchase whole pies!

Great little bakery and coffee shop. Located in a nice area right across from the preservation museum. Owner was extremely nice, staff was very friendly, coffee tasted delicious. Glad I added this to my stop as I’m passing through town. Next time I will try the bakery as everything looked delicious.
