It had been years since I’ve been to the HomerGlen or Homewood location but I was just as excited to try the Tinley Park location and had my friend drive into town to meet me. To my dismay, we were seated with a waitress who was very frazzled and rude on top of it. She interrupted both of our food orders repeatedly. Didn’t take my friends drink order then waived her hand in my friend’s face when she asked for a diet coke saying it’d be some time because the waitress had other people to help first. Not even a two minutes went by and she came back with the pop and harshly set it down on the table and stated it was only quick because someone else did it for her. My friend and I tried to let what was clearly a bad day for this waitress go, but then when my food came out my skillet was made wrong and my pancakes were raw. There was still pancake mix dripping from then when I cut into it. We asked to speak to a manager which took forever to make happen (mind you it was Wednesday at 11Am at this point so not overly busy,). When he got there he came and apologized. Our food was remade. But I guess he thought it was ok to still pay full price for the terrible service and extra time spent waiting. We paid and tipped and left unhappy. The food was good once remade, but the experience certainly put a bad taste in my mouth. Next time I’ll go the the other locations or one of the many other breakfast spots in town.

Food was great. Fries were cooked to crispy perfection. Burgers were good. Beautiful cross grill marks. Creamer were stacked artfully. Bathrooms were clean. My only complaint was spears instead of pickle chips.

That being said I will definitely be returning everytime I am in the area.

Was greeted by a very nice lady probably the hostess. Our server not so much. Doesn’t say good morning. I ask about the gluten free options and she says you can look at the menu. Well the menu says ask the server. She was very rude. Very rude. Why do you even come to work with that attitude? We ended up walking out. Not right at all.

My waitress gave excellent service. Place was to many patrons, at 9:00am on Saturday 12-20-25. There products, being food is pricey. Again my waitress as she indicated being there for seven years, identified as a late middle aged light skinned human was absolutely a “hostess of the mostess,” and needs to recognized by that establishment owner/s. It’s employed humans as such that make any employer successful. All to often employers forget, just WHO makes an establishment successful.

We are from out of town but have been to the area twice now, both times we have come here for breakfast and had awesome experiences! The owners and wait staff are very sweet. The food is amazing! They have gluten free pancakes which are amazing. My husband’s farmers eggs were very good as well! We definitely recommend stopping in. The restaurant is clean and open with plenty of natural lighting. They have lunch options as well.

Potato pancakes were thick, no flavor can hardly count the basil as flavor.
The skillet eggs weren’t made good.
Don’t plan on coming back. Yes they took off the order, cuz I didn’t like my food.

Upon arrival there was some people waited to be seated however the wait was only 15-20 minutes. Our Server was Kristin who was very nice, Friendly, and attentive. Food was great I order the King of the hill omelette which was was close to a fritta with the potatoes cooked inside. My daughter ordered the Chunk Monkey waffle which she says was delicious. Both portions were big and could be shared or left overs could be brought home. All in all food was great, staff was friendly, clean environment.

My husband and I have visited this place several times and have always experienced excellent service and great food. However, this wasn’t the case today. I ordered the skillet which was very bland and not good. I made my waitress aware and told her that something was just off. She apologized and told the cook. I appreciated that she was very accommodating. I just feel like she should have informed the manager and they should have worked something out. I’m not confrontational and just decided to pay the bill and just leave. My husband and I will not be returning to this location.

Fast, friendly service (from Sessi)! Very good food (I had the Blue Plate Special with Banan Nut French Toast, which is served with sliced bananas on top and tastes delicious!).

The only suggestion for improvement is to add a side dish (eg, fruit or a side order of pancakes) so that you feel full. My dish only came with modest servings of eggs, meat and french toast. I hope that helps

The price was average, slightly more than I usually pay.
