The crab dip is absolutely the most amazing I’ve ever had. It has tons of crab meat in it. I had the bay fish and my wife had the chicken salad they were both very very good. We stayed on the bar side and Cheyenne was absolutely amazing. Made the best drinks ever. We drove 45 minutes and we’re definitely not disappointed. Cheyenne should get a raise. Thank you thank you The reason I put the amount of money per person was so high is because we had drinks and etc..

If you’re making the run between I-95 & I-75, Blue Water Bay in Melrose is well worth stopping for! The service was friendly, welcoming and informative. The food came out in a timely manner. Long enough to indicate the food was being prepared and not sitting on a warming window. But not so long that you wanted to gnaw off your hand from hunger!
We love fresh pork rinds aka chicharrones. They don’t try to season them or gussy them up with sauces. They are fresh and hot and delicious!
The smoked, fried ribs with homemade blueberry barbecue sauce were phenomenal! Can’t say enough about these! The fried shrimp were perfect as well.
This will now be on our list when traveling to and from FL!

A total hole in the wall from the outside, but dang, their chefs know what they’re doing inside. Very different take on our favorites.
You’ve got to try this place. Slightly upscale with a separate bar room away from dining room.

This little gem of a restaurant in this Tiny Town was absolutely awesome. Our waiter Forest was fantastic. I had the Prime Steak cooked to perfection. The lobster bisque soup was absolutely out of this world and portions here are huge. Fried oysters were the best we have ever eaten anywhere. I would recommend anyone that comes through Melrose to stop at the Blue Water Bay.

Great place with friendly service and a diverse menu. Clean and cozy.
Lots of parking.
The food was excellent.
Preparation didn’t take an unreasonable amount of time.
Price was fair.
Recommend it and will definitely be going back

We arrived there and got a table super easily because there was barely anyone. There was a singer (Sunday nights i assume there is live music) and a comfy environment. We sat down and the menu had pretty good options. The waitress was very nice, made small talk with us, and recommended places to go. The food was absolutely fantastic I would 100% recommend. Kind of a seafood place but there’s turf too. However the only drawback was the time taken to get our food. Now if there was a bunch of people at the restaurant I could understand. But there was barely anyone and it took us over an hour to get our order done. I assume this was because of Christmas break. Didn’t bother us though food was great, if you’re in melrose I would strongly recommend Blue Water Bay.

We love Blue Water Bay, and have been visiting for many years now. We miss the wonderful buffet they had, but we still enjoy the fried and grilled seafood platters, fresh pork rinds and the drinks are great too. Service is mixed – sometimes great, sometimes not. We get it! Food is also sometimes not quite up to the standard we expect. But as is every place. Thank you for being our seafood go-to for our family.

This is the first time here. The menu had a lot to offer. We’ve never heard of fried ribs so we wanted to give it a try. Breading was OK but bland. Ribs were tender and a little on the spicy side. My friend had a French onion soup and absolutely loved it. He also had the Cuban sandwich and Was very happy with it. I had the 1 pound wings. They were very moist and a nice crisp on the skin. The mild flavoring was OK. The staff were nice. Appeared to be very busy that day with a large party. So a lot of focus was on themabove all else.

Hi today is 11-04-2025 my sissy, and I stopped here today for lunch, she was born and raised here in Melrose and wanted to come for a visit to see how it has changed. some place was still standing and Operational, the use to be grocery store is now a liquor store the old school is there with a new gym.anyway she remembered this restaurant and the original owners but they no longer owned it. Anyways we were greeted with a lovely smile by a lovely young lady who was very tentative to what we needed. my sissy ordered the pound of steamed shrimp with a hot sauce garlic sauce and she had a toss salad with her meal. I ordered a fish sandwich with fries it came with lettuce tomatoes onions and pickles and tater sauce. only thing I didn’t care for was the shoestring fries I wish they would have had crinkle cut fries or thicker cut fries. Other than that the food was good. my meal cost 19.00 dollars I ordered a slice of Chocolate Cake it was big and thick slice wasn’t very sweet which I liked. now I ordered my sissy a slice of key lime pie and that was shocking it was a infant slice she was disappointed so was I. I wanted to ask the waitress where was the other half I mean it was so small they should have given it to her for free compared to my cake slice. Other than that the food was ok. I would go back if they change their fries and bigger slices of pie. I don’t know what my sissy paid for her food.
