I was looking for a burger and a place that wasnt a circus and I found both at Blue Sky! This place was perfect for getting a good burger and a chill atmosphere! The onion rings were probably the best ive had (for real, and I dont compare onion rings!). And good sweat tea even had coconut flavor odd but good!

Grilled jalapeños, grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, French fries, root beer float, and the iced root beer fountain drink was great! Temperatures all perfect! Stopped in at Blue Sky Texas in Midland and went all in with a double cheeseburger and a plate of chili cheese fries.
The Burger:
Big, juicy patties with plenty of flavor. The cheese was melted perfectly between the meat. The bun was soft but held up well. It is not overly fancy, just a solid old-school cheeseburger that hits the spot.
The Chili Cheese Fries:
The portion was generous and definitely built for sharing, though I was glad I kept them to myself. The fries were hand cut and topped with plenty of chili and melted cheese. Some fries stayed crispy while others soaked up the toppings. It was messy, hearty, and exactly what you expect from a good chili cheese fry. The ranch on the side was a nice touch.
The Vibe:
Casual and family friendly, with that local Texas burger joint feel. Service was quick enough. I can see how consistency might make or break the experience depending on the visit.

Ordered Bacon cheeseburger . Was good except that the mustard was too much and just in a glob. First bite was pure taste of mustard and onions. I scraped off what I could. When in was close to finishing second to last bite was a glob of mayonnaise. Food is good, bit make sure to ask them to spread the condiments and take it easy on the amounts used.

By the time I finished eating, I was full, happy, and considering canceling future meals because nothing else might live up to this. If loving Blue Sky Texas burgers and fries is wrong, I don’t want to be right.

The burger menu here is pretty comprehensive. The food was very good. I left exceptionally full after a double bacon cheeseburger with tater tots and a beer. You can sit anywhere, inside or out, and the drinks are self-serve.

First time going and didn’t know what to expect. I was not aware the only alcoholic drinks they offered was beer so was kind of a bummer. They do have fountain drinks & a variety of different tea’s. I tried the Guacamole Cheeseburger & fried mushrooms which was alright but lacked seasoning. The inside is very spacious & laid back atmosphere with a sports bar feel. There are plenty of TVs with signage & advertising from the area.

The burger was tasty, super crunchy, fresco and juicy, the fríes were over fried, however delicious!
The room was crowded, clean and enjoyable.
It’s definitely a family place, children are welcome, and they do not have dress code. Plenty of parking cz they are in a mall. The staff was super friendly and happy. The room has a nice decoration, and tv to watch videos and games. This place is located in Midland, Texas
