Very comfortable little family restaurant. The menu is expansive with everything from breakfast to gyros. The place was pretty busy for 2pm and the floors and tables were a bit messy. The staff were very polite and helpful. My philly cheesesteak was pretty good.

Anytime I’m in lorain I make sure to stop and eat here. It’s a nice comfy little diner. You get some large portions, so expect to take food home. Service has always been top notch when I go. Food is decent, and they have a lot of options. One of the biggest menu’s I’ve seen. Kind of a jack of all trades restaurant, so don’t expect Gordon Ramsay food here.

Today is Black Friday, day after Thanksgiving. Just couldn’t eat any more turkey and the wife brought me a fish sandwich from Blue sky restaurant in Amherst specifically the big Bob this sandwich. I got a huge slab of fish a great big gob of fries and a cup of clam chowder for $7.99. I defy anyone to find a better deal around here. My food was perfectly prepared The portions were outstanding and most of all it was good! I can’t recommend them enough. I usually patronize the one in Elyria, but this time I happened to order from the one in Amherst and I must say they did not disappoint. If you haven’t tried them I don’t know what you’re waiting for. These 2 restaurants are local gems and deserve our support in my humble opinion. Full disclosure I have no business or personal connection with them whatsoever, I’m just a fan.

We’ve been stopping here on our way home from various treks. Food is excellent, staff very friendly and lots of regulars who know the staff. I had a broiled walleye dinner with steamed veggie and baked potatoes after a post surgical visit at Cleveland Clinic. I was limited on what I could eat. This dinner was perfect..low fat, tasty, not fried and freshly made. My husband had their big breakfast special with their homemade biscuits and gravy, eggs, etc. He cleaned his plate! A great place for any meal.

Feels like it is stuck in the late 90s. Service was passable. Food was underwhelming. Prices were low, but you get what you pay for. Lower prices=lower quality. The French onion soup was specifically disappointing. The onions were barely cooked. They should be caramelized to create the flavor for the soup.

Nice little take out spot. Me and my girlfriend’s got breakfast. The stuffed french toast was very good. The lady who rings people out didn’t seem like she event wanted to help us.

My wife and I always have brunch here after church on Sundays! Always packed but we’ve never waited more than 15 min. Food is always great and portions are large (prices are very reasonable). Service is very, very good. We’re going back every Sunday. See you there!

Met an old friend from 55 years ago. Talked for 2 hours. Had a great time. Our waitress Candice was AWESOME… So patient. The breakfast was great.

We were a large party and nearly all of us were dissatisfied with the food. The food tasted freezer burned and old. The 7-Up and root beer were very strange like a cotton candy syrup that left a bad aftertaste. After leaving, half of our group actually got sick. I’m talking 5-6 of us were sick. This was our first time there and we will not be back.

Excellent local business. My family and I have been eating here for years—we dine in or get takeout at least every other month. There are many other restaurants nearby, including a Denny’s right across the road, and this is still our “go to” for breakfast and Americana type food. They always have a great selection of cakes and cheesecakes and we love to look in the display case right after we get seated. Some dishes we regularly order are: grilled cheese, Philly steak, Rueben, and pancakes. The coleslaw is great and the French onion soup is always excellent. Aesthetically it’s very old school and needs some updates and the seating is old… but it feels irrelevant because the food is good and consistent and we have never had an issue with orders being wrong, food taking too long, or service being poor. We have also eaten at the Elyria location and it’s equally as quality. Definitely a great local spot worth trying.
