Lady who take the order is very rude. I ordered my food and when I got there I asked for ketchup and hot sauce. She told me I should have said this over the phone. When I asked for extra duck sauce she sucked her teeth, rolled her eyes and say pay now please.

One of the best Chinese takeout restaurants in the area. The food is very fresh, the vegetables are crunchy and the shrimps are not overcooked. Nice portions. It’s my go to place.

The staff is always friendly and orders are usually ready within 10 to 15 minutes unless they are busy. Their food is by far my favorite Chinese food in the area and has been consistently great for the decade I’ve eaten here. Their dumplings are so tasty and juicy, you don’t even need the sauce. The food is fresh every time and very flavorful. The establishment is kept very clean as well. If you’re thinking of trying Blue Sky, do it! You won’t be disappointed.

This is one of our favorites takeout Chinese restaurants. The food is good and reasonably priced. There is a good variety and you can spice it to taste. You can have sauce on the side if you want to add the sauce yourself We usually do pick up rather than take out so I cannot evaluate their delivery. The staff is very friendly and we have been going there so long they know us by the sound of my voice and they know orders by heart . Once ordered our food is ready within 15 minutes

Not greasy, shrimp taste fresh

Ordered Singapore Mei Fun. Noodles were mushy, the meats were indistinguishable from one another and the shrimp had a force thawed texture. Utterly unenjoyable and the last time I ever go back. Yes the owners are the same from when I enjoyed food from here.

Anyhow, I went in and they were having a whole argument. I had to wait a few mins to be attended. I ordered a lunch special shrimp and cashew nuts. I guess the cook was very upset bcs the food tasted horrible.
The sauce wasn’t properly mixed. Some parts tasted like sweet garlic sauce and other parts tasted like just soy sauce. It was kinda dry too.
I’ve been ordering this dish for a few yrs now. I’ve never had such a distasteful order!
I live in Bayside. The spots out here make this plate so much better!

Blue Sky Chinese Restaurant is on a small block of stores on Springfield Boulevard, just off Union Turnpike. It competes with another Chinese food take out across the street on Union. The name is the only reason I chose to try the food here instead of the one on Union. The woman working at the counter was friendly and had no issue making changes in my order.
I ordered Kung Pao Chicken with Young Chow Fried Rice. The sauce was slightly spicy and had a nice taste. I’ve had better rice, and lacked a lot of the meats. I took a star off also because the place did not seem very clean, although there were about 5 tables to sit at.
Metered parking in front and delivery of course. Maybe my experience would have been one worthy of 5 stars if I hadn’t gone on a rainy day, but one filled with blue skies. Maybe.

Ordered dim sum. Noodles were over cooked cause they were soft and mushy. Their egg foo young is not great either. The sauce is horrible. Would never order again. Need new cooks
