Really cute local cafe where we stopped by to get lunch. They offer a lot of varieties of sandwiches like chicken, egg, tuna, chickpea salad and they really load it up! I ordered the chickpea salad with a side of fruit. They also have some baked goods

My husband and I are so glad we stopped here for lunch! The employees were so friendly and accommodating, the meatball gyros were very tasty, and the baklava sticky bun was INCREDIBLE (not too sweet and VERY good)! We hope we can stop by again when we’re in town!

Wandered in here as we explored Brevard for my birthday. Thinking we would get a sandwich we perused the menu but none sound exciting so we just got a sweet treat. The manager or owner audibly corrected the cashier for not charging us .50c for using a credit card for a purchase under $5 (this was also not apparent as the sign about this is small and slightly obscured, so I probably would have foregone the purchase altogether as I had no cash). Definitely felt awkward and uncomfortable, to the point where we probably wouldn’t try this place again. Went down the street to a different spot with similar sandwiches but a little more variety, and were treated cordially/greeted with smiles.
The baked good we got was good but didn’t stand out as mindblowing or anything.

I had the spinach feta quiche’ which was served warm. By being served warm the flavors worked together and the pastry is just as good as mine, very flaky melts on your mouth! I had a side salad for my side which was served cold and fresh!

I really loved their cookies. They only had 2 kinds of vegan cookies and they were out of one. The environment was friendly and the servers were kind. There is virtually no parking, we parked 2 blocks away. For the food, it’s worth it. I really enjoyed it and would go again.

I grab lunch here frequently (looking at you, chickpea avocado wrap), or pick up frozen chicken pot pie, but I ordered a special cake for an event and that hummingbird cake was so well received I almost didn’t have a second slice to take home! Fantastic!

Suzy was really sweet & delivered the tastiest wedding cake!
I had to plan my wedding in Cashiers, NC from my home in Houston, TX so I wasn’t able to do a prior cake tasting and really had to lean on asking the right questions and trusting her from a vendor that referred the bakery. I can honestly say that I am so grateful for the amazing customer service, patience with Suzy answering my many questions, and the end result was perfect. We got a two tier cake for a very small wedding of 12 people and were going to keep the top tier for our first anniversary.. However, the cake was so good we only had two slices left over the next day! No regrets, cake is better fresh anyway. ; )
I would definitely recommend this baker/bakery.

Good pimento cheese, but so dry and Cold! Straight from the fridge. Friend ordered egg salad and got chicken salad. Not easy to confuse those.
