This is a nice sushi bar with a pleasant atmosphere and a modern, cozy interior. The place feels comfortable for both small groups and a casual dinner.

The sushi was fresh and nicely presented, and the menu has a good variety of options, including hot dishes and appetizers. We also tried fried shrimp and rice dishes, which were served well and tasted good.

Service was polite and professional, and the food arrived in a reasonable time. Overall, it was a solid dining experience — not extraordinary, but consistent and enjoyable.

A good option if you’re looking for a reliable sushi place with a calm atmosphere.

Our first time here at this restaurant at The Grove Los Angeles.
The food was outstanding as was the service. And we sat outside which made The Grove holiday experience better!
Wonderful holiday decorations abounded at The Grove and the outside seating allowed us to enjoy it all!

The place smells like dead fish.
I expect a decent service in a $100 per person restaurant but the waiter seems very lost.
I ordered medium rare but they served medium well, and the meal portion feels like it’s made for a kid .
You can tastes the blood from the fried chicken.

The food here is phenomenal. We came for lunch and nothing disappointed us. It wasn’t too much at this time and we were able to sit down super quickly. My favourite was the sushi along with the blue ribbon fried chicken. I would 100% go back and try more things.

Yummmm… we got so many things on the menu and they were all fantastic. Would highly recommend the crispy tuna rice. The service was great and loved the atmosphere. Great spot to get food in the grove!

The food was excellent. The staff was nice, place can get a little crowded during peak hours or holidays. Nothing authentic that I’m craving to go back for except for the crunchy chicken. Also, it can get pricey.

Blue Ribbon Sushi at The Grove is insane in the best way. The Grove Hand Roll? Absolute perfection — crispy nori, warm rice, buttery-fresh fish. Everything else was fire too (get the toro!), and the staff made me feel like a VIP. If you’re at The Grove and not eating here, you’re doing it wrong. @sushitraveler

I had the pleasure of dining at Blue Ribbon Sushi when I was on vacation in Los Angeles. It is located in The Grove, which is a large outdoor shopping complex with countless options for shopping, entertainment and food. The sushi was fresh and delicious. Jasmine served me at the bar rail and she was so friendly, her service was top notch! Thank you for making my afternoon there special!

The fried chicken appetizer was tasty and crispy. Miso soup was ok. I got the spicy tuna avocado roll and my boyfriend got the crab caviar roll. Both rolls were A1 high quality sushi

It was date night so we visited Blue Ribbon. We enjoyed the crispy rice and salmon nigiri—both were good, and the steak was well-prepared and flavorful. The sake there served recommended wasn’t my favorite. While everything was enjoyable, it wasn’t quite memorable enough to make us want to return for another date night unless we had to.

The service was attentive, but overall, it’s not necessarily a spot we’d prioritize for a special night out.
