Never here before. We shared the cheesecake and an onion soup. More than enough for the two of us. Really liked the fries too. When near here again we will come back. Want to try the Ruebin but can’t finish what we ordered now.

Three of us visited the Blue Ribbon Grill this evening and had a wonderful experience. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent and very friendly. The prices were also good, especially for the amount and quality of food! We enjoyed our drinks (BRG Mamas and a beer) too! Thank you for a relaxing evening. And we loved the new cosy lighting!!

Extremely disappointed. Extremely DRY burger. Well done when I asked for medium. Stale bun fell apart. Inedible. I just gave up and gave it to my dog. Should’ve just waited for Grindhouse to open. French Onion Soup with no spoon. No cracker. No bread. No croutons. Maybe I’ll just use this crumbly burger bun for the soup. Friendly staff. That’s about it. $30 down the drain.

It was dead in there so that should have been my first sign. The fact yall had the audacity to sell a malnourished Reuben with not sliced meat but diced dog food looking triangles is beyond me. Those were toppings for a pizza, not slices for a sandwich. That was the worst reuben I’ve ever had and I’ve had Nicky Ds in the worst part of Detroit. First impression. Service was good enough that I’ll give you another chance on a different dish. I’ll update accordingly.

Familiar local pub with hearty food.

This is an old neighborhood pub in a new location. The customers seem to know each other and had friendly banter. The decor is pretty sparse and plain but that is not why people come here.

There is a big old bar with lots of selection of liquor and beer. One old guy said it was his reason to come here.

Lunch menu is limited. There are half a dozen classic sandwiches and about as many brunch offerings. The waitress pointed out that the dinner menu is more extensive.

The sandwiches are hearty classics. I had a double burger without the bun. It was juicy, tender and well seasoned. The toppings were fresh. The fries were hot but nothing to write home about.

People around me complimented the food. There was a french onion soup special and a couple of customers were singing its praises across tables.

Cute place that offers American food. We ordered the turkey Swiss sandwich that came with fries. Someone else ordered the hamburger. All very good. The dessert was the limoncello cake. Very good! The restaurant had the owner Eric and his wife who had a small shop next to the restaurant. Items from Europe- candies, jewelry, and trivets.

I like the energy of this place. I’m told it used to be in another location and I can tell it’s getting situated here, but it feels new, fresh, and almost excited to be here. But it has the old favorites. The Reuben was great. Fries were hot. Like old style diner food. Hot and fresh and solid. Love that.

But again, it’s new. There is a European feel, too. And it is coming together in an interesting way. I like it.

It has a great energy of rebirth, and if you’re a little woo woo like me you can feel it.

The best part of the lunch brunch was that the food was delicious. The western omelet and eggs over medium were great. Service was a problem today. Staff seemed unorganized and not working together. It took almost 15 minutes to place our order. As our waiter was struggling with a large group and individual checks, a second wait staffer walking around did not step in to help. Our drink request were taken by another individual. The orders of two other tables around us were taken before our order was taken. The place is cozy but dark with a nice bar area. There were a few TVs around. Definitely geared to an older crowd although there were several tables with children. Our check was wrong but due to the staffing issues, we let it go.

Local pub restaurant. We hadn’t been but had heard the food was good so went to check it out. We sat in the bar area and there were a few TVs with football on. The bar had most of the patrons.

We started with the Reuben egg rolls. They were crispy with lots of tasty corn beef. I had the French onion soup which was great! Lots of gooey cheese. I also tried a piece of fish from the fish and chips. It was crispy and fresh. Really yummy.

We finished with the tuxedo mousse cake. It was yummy. I wasn’t expecting it to be frozen but it was tasty!

Good restaurant, I’m from out of town, was driving by and stopped by the grocery store. Than I saw the sign and went in. The food is good, as is the service. I had fish and chips ( it was good as was supposed to be), my wife had an onion soup and my kid a NY Steak. Everything was good. The price is fair. It seems to be a traditional place with good food. We liked it. Do recommend if you are like me and aren’t fond to restaurant chains, and the same tasting food and don’t want to pay a lot in a, fancy dinner out. You can eat here and won’t regret.
