Probably my favorite local nondescript restaurant in the Birmingham area. With the severe lack of variety in Asian food, this is a gem. Can’t really go wrong with whatever you order, everything tastes great. Parking can be tough during peak hours but it’s manageable. Calling in can be tough too, but if you can’t get in, just go there, order and wait.

Wish we lived closer. I get legitimately mad when they go on their annual much deserved vacation because this place is just perfect every time and the only time I’m disappointed witht this place is when we’re in the area and they aren’t open. The most mid thing on the menu is the spring roll in my opinion and they’re STILL good. Like the parking and ability to get a phone order in are rough, but also its completely worth it. I have never been disappointed with any of the food. Treat the menu like a blackout bingo card and try it all. Pad Thai great. Pad see ew fantastic. Soups are fab. Wings amazing. Noodles always springy and full of flavor from the wok. Veggies perfect. Fried tofu crispy and never tastes like old oil. Love this place.

A literal gem! The pad Thai and spring rolls are amazing. I’m sure everything else is too.

Blue pacific is one of my favorite places to eat in the Birmingham/Hoover area. My husband and I go at least once a week and have never had a bad meal there. They are open Wednesday thru Saturday and you best believe as soon as they open at 5pm the phone is ringing off the hook. Our go-to’s are pad thai (the best I’ve had anywhere in Birmingham), pad kee mao, masaman curry chicken and coconut soup. If you place an order around dinner time it’s usually a 20-45 minute wait, but so worth it! They do have a few picnic tables outside but mostly do pick-up. The parking situation can be tight but there are other places to park nearby. I hope this place doesn’t change, they’re doing everything right!

We drive 90 miles to come to this place. The food is awesome & so are the people. We’ve been known to order twice in one day just to take some home. We get the Spicy Basil & PadPrik Sot… so tasty!

I’ve always been a fan of the delicious Vietnamese cuisine at Blue Pacific, with their fried rice standing out as a true highlight. The flavors are spot on, showing their commitment to quality, which has impressively maintained even after the challenges brought by the pandemic. However, the lack of indoor seating is a downside, especially during unfavorable weather conditions. It would be greatly beneficial if the restaurant could reintroduce some form of indoor or sheltered dining to enhance the overall experience. Despite this, Blue Pacific continues to be my top spot for exquisite Vietnamese fried rice.

No-nonsense hole in the wall Thai place in a repurposed gas station convenience store. Placed an order for pickup for lunch on a Saturday, and it was ready when we arrived (about 15 minutes frok call to pick up). Staff was friendly. Appears to be some seating indoors, but it wasn’t open when we were there. Also some picnic tables outside.

Ordered chicken pad thai, veggie pad pak, and 2 spring rolls. Rolls were excellent, and the pad pak and pad thai were very good. Certainly can’t beat the prices!

Best Thai food I’ve had in Birmingham and especially for that price. Am I gonna start going every week? Maybe. Amazing food, very nice people. Would highly recommend.

This is an edit to the review below. The Pad Thai is the only dish I eat here. I give 5 Stars when I think someone goes that extra step, like the egg net they used to put on this dish. Not sure why, but they don’t do this anymore. Too bad, it made a good place, amazing in my opinion…… I try Pad Thai everywhere I Go, and Blue Pacific absolutely has the best in my opinion! Hole in the wall actually kind of looks like a gas station, I think it used to be a gas station. Totally worth the trip!

Surprisingly, this little place has good fried rice. They have specials for each day. Seems like it’s geared towards Togo than sit in experience. It’s a basic restaurant seating arrangement with couple benches outside for seating.
