Crab pot was fresh boiled crab with seafood like clam muscle and shrimp. All very fresh and lightly seasoned. I wish the Cajun seasoning was given to us for us to add more but not a big deal.
This place deserves all the awards it got. 1000% recommend and would come back.
It was good. Kitsap County is lacking good burgers and steaks in my opinion. 8/10 on my scale.
Staff is super friendly, went today for my birthday, we recently moved into town and been looking for some good places to eat and they didn’t disappoint.
I wish I would’ve taken some pictures next time! Because we will definitely come back, their fish is amazing!
Appetizer was the sweet potato fries. They were incredibly good, and I don’t really care for fries. Snappy, good flavor, not too oily. This goes as well for the normal fries but sweet potatoes add a lot more flavor, highly recommend for sharing.
Seafood pot was huge. Easily feeds two people or three depending on how hungry you are. Krab, clams, and mussels were all very fresh. They boiled it in their spices, very lightly, so you get a hint of it and it doesn’t over power the fresh seafood flavor. Only complaint is the sausage and corn were pretty meh, maybe ask to substitute the sausage for something else.
Great restaurant spot to come and enjoy fresh seafood.
The server was lovely, but I don’t think they were expecting the rush that came in. She was BUSY, managing like 10 tables solo. We didn’t really get check ins or offers for things, but she was just trying to stay ahead of getting orders, so I wouldn’t hold it against them!
Not a fancy place to eat at all, but friendly service and good food.
Ordered a combo meal that included fish & chips, cole slaw and clam chowder.
The Fish of the fish and chips was quite good, fish not over cooked and nice crispiness (no panko version). Fries were decent. Cole slaw was fine.
But, WOW, the clam chowder is exceptional! Not a thick, stew-like think that many serve, nor a way-too-runny version that the other many serve. This was perfection – great flavor, lots of clamminess and exactly the right soupiness to it – not too runny, not too stodgy. Really a great dish. Do not miss out trying this.
Recommended.
My only complaint was the carpet has the restaurant with a slight order.
Edit : we recently dined an additional 2 visits. Do not eat in on a Friday. We waited almost an hour for food. All the tables were filled and only one table was eating. If you order take out, you will get your food quicker. Take out seems to be priority. The old lady that is a waitress will TRY and force you to pay for the food while you are eating. Just rude. I really wanted to like this restaurant. We will not be back it would have been nice to be warned about the wait.
Thank you!
