One of our favorite coffee shops! We’ve been going here since they opened, and it’s great to see how much they’ve expanded and grown, yet still retained their original culture and vibe. They have excellent coffee, wines by the glass, craft beer, pastries, and more. Kind staff, cozy atmosphere, plenty of seating inside and out. A must-go if you’re in Applewood!

Super cute neighborhood coffee shop. I cannot believe I didn’t know this coffee shop existed in Lakewood. It is a really great spot. The staff is friendly. There is some indoor seating and lots of outdoor seating as well. They have a long covered porch with tables and couches. Perfect to sit and enjoy time with friends or work. They make 2 syrups in house, vanilla and lavender. I ordered an oat milk vanilla latte, and it was hands down the best vanilla latte I’ve had. I will definitely be returning to this shop.

I stumbled upon this cute coffee shop after a Pilates class. Sam was so welcoming and friendly. It is so refreshing to fine a good coffee that isn’t $7! The prices are so 2020! I love it. Sam recommended a shaken spiced pear drink that is exactly my flavor profile. Not too sweet and filled with warming spices. Delicious! Can’t wait to come back.

SUCH a cute place!!! The attention to detail is unreal, from their swanky silverware to the bathroom decor. The coffees are mixology level with house made syrups and creative concoctions. Great selection of baked goods! The Everything Bagel Puff was fabulous.

I stopped in today to get a coffee and the vanilla latte was excellent. They have a homemade vanilla syrup that I tried and it was so tasty. They also carry bonfire burritos and wild monkey bars. it’s awesome to see locals supporting locals! I will definitely be back.

I’m always skeptical of stripmall coffee shops, but the owners nailed it with this spot! Great feel, great decor, kind staff, great offerings. I don’t drink coffee, but their tea selection proves to grasp quality over quantity. And best of all they charge accurately. A lot of places will charge $5 for a bag of tea shavings. But Blue Nest has an affordable price for great tasting loose leaf teas. It leaves me tipping a little extra. Thanks for this Great addition to the community.

If there’s such a thing as a perfect coffee shop, this is it. Simple yet excellent drink selection—coffee, tea, all done right, with reasonable price. The interior is calm, minimalist, and somehow makes you feel productive without trying too hard. Friendly staff, great music, and a super clean restroom (yes, with soap and hand lotion…huge win).
It feels minimalist but still thoughtfully decorated, like every detail actually means something. Hours are perfect too: 7am–8pm Monday–Saturday, and Sundays until 5pm. Truly a one-in-a-million coffee spot.

Blue Nest is such a gem in Applewood. They have absolutely everything you could imagine as far as inventive drinks and homemade syrups. The menu reflects high end, but you won’t experience any barista snobbery that sometimes comes with it . Even Starbucks has a tude these days lol. The staff is friendly, efficient, and I’m always served quickly.
