Wow!! Who knew this was on the West side! We were staying at a hotel the night before a doctor’s appointment at St. Thomas and I googled restaurants close by. This was a great experience! Really good food, nice presentation and friendly and efficient server. Can highly recommend Mango Margarita, Shrimp & Grits, Coconut Shrimp and Mud Pie.

Great dining experience in a marina! Service was excellent and food tasted great! Had the fried conch appetizer, fried calamari and fried pickles, bar drinks (multiple margarita flavors), shrimp and grits and the catfish baskets! Portions were nice and everything was fried to perfection!

Great place to unwind. Wonderful service. Excellent food. The Catfish platter was tender fresh and so delicious. Loved the hushpuppies and french fries. The view of being on the river at this restaurant was so peaceful and relaxing. A must visit place.

Arrived solo on 7-11-25 at 12:04 pm while in the area for a day trip. Fairly normal lunch crowd present after my food arrived. Staff was not friendly at all. Ordered fish tacos, side salad with balsamic dressing. Was not impressed with the fish tacos. Fish had no flavor and texture was finely crumbled like it was out of a can (texture like cheap canned tuna). The balsamic dressing was even worse. Heavy oil based with no flavor either and an up charge 50 cents for it- terrible!!! (Photos attached) For the price of my meal- absolutely do not suggest.
I travel ALOT and am a “foodie”. I also enjoy the environment of waterfront restaurants either on the river or ocean. I will check this place out again on a wknd to try again and the ambiance of the crowd. Might give it one more chance with the food.

The place was interesting and very close to walk by. The staff were nice as well. I really enjoyed the seafood platter, Especially the catfish and the coconut shrimp. Brunch is also nice with the country benedict. Although it gets hot in the summer, you still get a nice view of the place.

Thank you all for such a great first time experience. The food and atmospheric were amazing and the service was beyond exceptional. They made our family dinner with my 97 yr old grandfather so memorable and beyond accommodating for his mobility issues leaving. I was so grateful for that since this can be hard yo get to for the handicap who can’t or shouldn’t walk far. The ramp is great but for the elders with mobility issues is a bit terrifying since it moves and is quite far from parking. Thank you all for an amazing visit. We will surely be back on our next visit to nashville. Gives off that island pub/Florida vibe.

We ate on the water at Blue Moon grill for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. Started with calamari and then The blackened mahi mahi sandwich both were delicious, perfectly prepared. Also had the Po Boy (not on menu with catfish) and love it too! Great atmosphere and service. Chelsea was delightful. All The staff were helpful when asked for something extra. Ended with the famous Bush Wacker! Yum!!! Don’t. miss it!

Visited Blue Moon for the first time upon a recommendation from family. Did not know what to expect but the restaurant is located at a marina so it’s surrounded by water. Lots of space. You could dine inside or outside. We were seated immediately. Our server was okay. We arrived a little before 1pm so maybe she was tired. No smile or excitement. Anyway, she did bring whatever we needed and answered questions. I ordered the seafood platter: coconut shrimp, catfish, fries, a taste of cole slaw and hushpuppies. I added a side salad. Coconut shrimp were good. They were dark like they got a little too crispy but still had a good favor. The catfish batter tasted good. The catfish needed to cook a little more for me (I will probably not order again). The hushpuppies were great! The slaw was meh. Fries had a good taste but were oily and soggy. My husband ordered the seafood platter: grilled shrimp and salmon. He had fries and Cole slaw as well. He agreed on my description of the fries. He said his salmon was bland. Our son ordered the jerk chicken. It had black beans, rice, and pineapple salsa. He said that it tasted okay. He wasn’t a fan of the sweetness from the pineapple salsa. He cleaned his plate. He had the mac and cheese. He said that it was alright but wished he had ordered a different side. We will return and go for the breakfast and brunch options. They had lots of food items that we want to try. The atmosphere was good. A little expensive at over $100 including tip for 3 people.

The food was sooo good. I would order to go or via Uber eats or app but the lake insects are a problem the daytime experience can be better possibly but it messed up my experience. I’ve been to multiple lake and/or oceanfront places without the insects issue. Drinks were overpriced. The view was nice. Only reason I gave 3 stars is due to the bug issue. The overwhelming amount of bugs is why I left couldn’t eat in that condition.
