sadly – not a great burger – Perhaps one of the worst burgers i have had in awhile – not sure what the beef patty was made of ( not much beef) sort of rubbery and strange smoke flavor ( not natural) – lettuce was slimy….
the fries .. i went for garlic parmesan were soggy – not fully cooked ( maybe microwaved) more like english chips with loads of melted cheese more like those canadian fries …. than what i am used to for garlic / parmesan which are normally crispy with sprinkled dry cheese not gobs of melted mozzarella or something ( not parmesan)
I spent quite a lot – in my mind – not a great meal

I got the Blue Hawaiian burger and it was quite good! On one hand, the prices might be a bit much since the burger doesn’t come with a side and it’s kind of a divey spot but on the other hand, I don’t care for fries that much so it’s nice that they are separate and while it is divey, it is on the beach which comes with a price.

Really good veggie burger. The ciabatta bread is incredibly soft (not soggy) and easy to bite into. The bean patty was also really well done and flavourful. I will say that they do put a ton of jalapeño slices which makes it incredibly spicy.

The place was pretty much empty and I see why. I ordered the $13.99 Club Chicken Salad and it was beyond disappointing. The chicken was clearly highly processed and looked like something you would find on a fast food sandwich. There was almost just as much bacon as there was spring mix on my plate. It’s not that hard or that expensive to make a nice salad. I think the owner should take a look at what is coming out of their kitchen and then probably hire a new cook.

A solid 5 Stars! The fries were perfectly deep fried, they had a terrific “crunch”! The burger was a top notch “burger joint “ burger. It was full of flavour, well prepared & with the perfect accompaniments. Some fellow in a previous post squawked about the interior “signage”, he must’ve just been having a bad day!

Yikes… not a great experience here. Group of 3 of us ordered tots, Cajun fries, and garlic Parmesan fries. Pros: cheap. Cons: inside was very sad and cold. Two workers took 20+ minutes to prepare our food with nobody else in the restaurant. The garlic Parmesan fries were oily and very mediocre. The Cajun fries barely tasted like Cajun but were otherwise mediocre. The tots were so overcooked there was no potato left in the middle and were the worst tots I’ve had. Not sure how you screw up fried food this bad but I will not be coming back.

This is the kind of place where the 5-star atmosphere makes up for any shortcoming. What more could you want? Beachfront, check. Quick and friendly service, check. Greasy burgers and a-okay onion rings, check. Nothing here to write home about, but the combination of good vibes, great location, and decent fare, make this a spot I’d return to. No question about it.

$70 for lunch is wild considering the food is mid. biggest irritation is changing the sauce and onion on my burger jacked the price up and the lady didn’t care at all. also making it a combo with a beer doesn’t qualify you for the $2 discount! the fries taste like fish big time because their oil must be old and shared with the fish fry… the burgers were super pink in the middle, they do not offer water at all and the garlic Parmesan fries are drenched in fishy oil. I won’t be returning. they also charge you for using a credit card which is against their merchant card processing agreement. either the owner is just phoning it in or the manager is checked out completely.
