I recently visited Blue Mint Thai & Asian Cuisine in Midlothian and ordered the curry chicken with a Thai tea. Walking in, I’ll admit I was initially a bit skeptical. The staff didn’t reflect what I typically expect from a Thai restaurant, and I wasn’t sure what that might mean for authenticity.
That said, the food quickly won me over.
The curry chicken was flavorful, well-seasoned, and comforting with just the right level of warmth and depth. The vegetables were fresh, the chicken was tender, and the sauce had a rich, balanced profile that paired perfectly with rice. The Thai tea was good, exactly what you want alongside a curry dish.
Service was attentive, friendly, and efficient. From ordering to dining, everything felt welcoming and professional.
Overall, a very pleasant surprise. While my first impression gave me pause, the quality of the food and the excellent service absolutely delivered. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes when in Midlothian.

We have visited this location several times and the service and food are consistently great. Cam is usually there when we visit and always extremely nice!
I was immediately greeted with a warm hello when I walked in. Service was perfect from beginning to end. Trisha was kind enough to help me identify menu items without dairy as I have a dairy allergy. Thanks Trisha! I ended up ordering the sampler, wings with amazing sauce (that’s really the name and it was indeed amazing), blue mint dumplings, and fried tofu. My order did not disappoint. On top of that the restaurant is incredibly clean, tables and floors both. Will be back and soon! ❤️

Midlothian never had many food options other than American fast food (and one good Italian restaurant), until recently. Blue Mint Thai serves not just Thai food, but really good Thai food! Finally! We have food options! Service is great and I really like the ambiance. It’s also nice that there’s a little bit of outdoor seating in a grassy area. I highly recommend their curry rice in particular; it’s the best!

Noah was amazing! Very polite, patient and helpful. The food was good. I gave 4 stars only b/c it was a little salty for my liking and the margarita was not very margarita’ish. However, the preparation, presentation and price were on point. I’m sure I’ll be back to try something else. I had the crispy shrimp rolls and orange chicken w fried rice.

I gave the restaurant a 4, because of the location, staff and restaurant. My husband wanted to try the Thai restaurant and I’m not a Thai person I opted for the wings. I wasn’t expecting anything spectacular about the wings, but I should have read the description. They may have been better if they were no skin.
The wings appeared to be pre frozen battered wings, again I wasn’t expecting wing stop wings at all Thai place, but….
I got the bbq wings and since I like my wing crispy, I asked for extra crispy. I ended up putting them in the air fryer when I got home as they were not crispy.
My husband had the sampler and really enjoyed the fried dumplings.

I had the Crazy drinking noodles and was delicious! I ordered a double Thai and the chefs came through perfectly. Very spicy but also extra flavorable! You should give this place a try. They won’t disappoint!

Avery, Kinsey & Trisha took great care of me. I came in about 25 minutes before closing & they welcomed me without hesitation. Having worked food before, there’s nothing more aggravating than someone coming in just before closing…I was welcomed & even encouraged to eat my meal in. I was traveling from SC through Dallas & had been craving Thai all day. The Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) & spring rolls hit the spot! Fresh, piping hot & delicious! I only wish I lived here so I could eat here at least twice a week! Don’t miss Blue Mint Thai & tell the ladies I said hello!
