Kaila and Brian would be the reason I continue to come back. Thank you for giving us the most incredible experience in the bay and tell your boss to do whatever to keep you both! Can’t wait to see you both!!

This was the closest I came to a classic drive bar. Behind the steel door, you’ll find yourself with people singing karaoke and two pool tables. This bar seems to have its regulars which gives it a small-town feel. The karaoke host was amiable and inviting; we sang our little hearts out, but the bartender was a bit short with my male friends. She might have had a long day.. who knows. Regardless, she didn’t deny service. Overall, this was an interesting experience.

If you like cozy dive bars that are clean, relatively quiet, have a great selection of liquor and friendly service, Blue Max Lounge is the spot for you!
The service is atypical for dive bars. There is a pool table as well as a juke box (which isn’t terribly loud).
Good spot to stop by, late afternoon.

My favorite bar to go to for the last couple years! Very lowkey and calm, perfect for when you wanna grab a few drinks and don’t wanna be around any craziness. Customer service is always on point, and the bar itself is always very clean and welcoming!

I don’t know about you but for me this is a perfect bar. Divey but not dirty. Excellent booze selection. Great bartenders. Pool tables. TVs. A jukebox playing lively but not annoying music. A solid bar to belly up to. Plenty of high tops for a group experience. All gender bathrooms. A cheesesteak shop next door. Honestly, no notes. If you want a nice drink in the area go here. If you don’t like it that’s a YP.

Only been there once, on a low-key weekend afternoon. Great draft beer selection, loads of TVs (they show all NFL games on Sundays apparently), a small pool table, pinball machine, and a jukebox (not sure what they have on it but I heard Tom Petty’s version of Breakdown so that’s encouraging). Comfortable bar stools and a handful of tables. Patrons seemed mellow. Very nice, efficient bartender. And turned up Breakdown at request of patrons, so that was cool! Overall, a good, low-key bar is my first impression. Oh, they have karaoke I think on Tues, Thurs(?), and Sat. I’ll have to go on a busier night and see what’s what. But so far, encouraging!

A female friend invited me here because she had a pleasant past experience but when we got there, there was a different bartender that she didn’t know with possibly a Russian accent that wasn’t very nice to her then started on me a little bit!? Being a bartender can be very challenging with so many personalities and then so much alcohol on top of that it takes a special person to be a bartender in my opinion. Shortly after another bartender arrived I believe her name was Tiffany and she absolutely made things all better. As far as food goes it was plenty places there in the shopping center to grab something and bring back to the bar so that’s really nice and convenient.

Great specimen of a dive bar in a geographic area that is lacking. Staff are chilled out, super nice, super friendly. Patrons seem like they are regulars, also very social and friendly. Definitely a “neighborhood bar” for anyone who would want that experience.

Local hidden gem. Great classic bar experience without classic bar issues – no ripping off, no dirt, no agressive drank people. Great selection of spirits and craft beer. Bartender and owner are both lovely.
