I had been to this restaurant a couple other times over the years and everything was Great till yesterday. I can tell you that this location has large available seating, Great Bar with a cool atmosphere. But, the service compared to my previous visits has gone down hill. Our server took our drink order which he was Friendly n Courteous and bringing our drinks quickly. Now after we ordered which was 2 Taquiza Platters consisting of 6 small street Tacos and a side of charro beans each. It took almost an hour to get our food with no real explanation for why it was taking so long while other tables with people who arrived after us were already enjoying their meals. Like I said except for this everything else was Great.

I visited this place back when it first opened and was not impressed at all. I figured it was just because they were new. . . so I gave it some time. Unfortunately it is still not very good. At my last visit the waitress we had did not speak any English at all. We got a different waiter who was very nice. Margaritas are okay, nothing great. Food is expensive, taste is mediocre (not bad but not very good) and the portion sizes are really small. Lots of other Mexican food restaurants in the area that are a better option than this place.

Drink carrier they gave me for my 2 margaritas blew out within 20 seconds of me picking it up. You would think with the overpriced food and drinks they could give You something stronger than wet newspaper for your to go orders.

Lunch specials offer a nice variety. The Chicken Diablos were excellent and my client enjoyed the white enchiladas. Quick and friendly service. Liked it so much reserved the patio for the whole family this weekend to celebrate hubby’s birthday!

My husband and I decided to try this place because it’s busy a lot. We were really disappointed. The service was horrible and while we were there it was not busy. We ordered a queso for an appetizer and needed more chips when it came. I asked the girl bringing chips to the tables, then several minutes later asked our server, then finally brought the basket to the hostess because our queso was warm at best by then. About the time we finally got chips for our queso, the entrees arrived. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup which was pretty bland. My husband got a chimchanga which was about the same price but smaller than what he’s used to getting at the regular Mexican place we go to down the street. During our entrees we asked for the check so we could just go, the server brought us the check then we started the waiting game again for him to pick it up. We are not high maintenance diners, and we felt pretty much ignored and given the literal bare minimum of service we could have gotten. We will stick to our regular spot down the street. This visit was really disappointing and we won’t be returning to or recommending this place to anyone.

They are more expensive than some of the other Mexican restaurants around, but their street tacos are fantastic and I would gladly pay more for the deliciousness here! Their staff is also always friendly, and my drink is never empty here. Highly recommend!!

This is the first Tex-Mex spot that has a good salsa! Most salsa’s I’ve tasted at restaurants are very mild and bland, but Blue Iguana knocked it out of the park!!! The salsa isn’t spicy to me, but it does have a nice kick to it!!! The food was very delicious and it wasn’t overly salty like other places. The frozen Mango Margarita wasn’t too strong, but it still had a generous amount of tequila so they can become dangerous pretty fast. The inside of the restaurant is very clean as well as the restrooms. They do offer patio seating, but in this Texas heat it’s nearly impossible during the summer time. Overall I had a pleasant!! Definitely recommend if you are in the mood for some good Tex-Mex food in the Magnolia area!!

We went here for the first time ans man the food did not disappoint at all! We ordered the green enchilada with shredded chicken and tex-mex combo and the food was amazing. We ordered the tres leches cheeacake for dessert, it is so worth your money. This is worth a drive and our server Emma was so helpful and very friendly.

The waiters were extremely attentive. No wait time and the Halloween decor was to die for. Food was absolutely amazing and they even included chips and cheese for our to go order which is unheard of at most restaurants. I would give them 10 stars if I could.
