Visited here due to the reviews on Google and ordered takeout of the salmon salad. The food was plastic wrapped but slightly leaked, so be aware of the potential clean up. Still the food tasted good, however I felt like the price was slightly high ($18+ with tax).

Cute atmosphere. My husband and I frequent Mexican food establishments across the country, we eat way too much Mexican. And we have a thing for margaritas. The food… the chips and salsa were fine, nothing to write home about but in no way bad. The food was decent. It had flavor, and was better than 50% of others we’ve been to. The margarita? Nope. Tasted fine, but I’m almost certain there was no alcohol in it. If there was a small amount, I would be surprised. My husband and I both didn’t feel a thing. And like I said, we drink many, so we know what to expect. The people were nice though, the staff was kind. It’s probably a little bit more if a tourist spot than others, but it’s not bad. Just no alcohol in the margaritas.

We stopped in for an early lunch while spending a couple days in SLC for our 40th anniversary. The restaurant is super clean, nicely decorated and full of color. The serving staff did a great job taking care of us. The food was some of the best Mexican fare we’ve found in Utah so far. It’s convenient to City Creek and the Hyatt Regency where we stayed. We’ll be back!

Nice place to find authentic Mexican cuisine, although I’ve certainly had better. The atmosphere is very inviting and looks better than the food tastes. Our server never smiled once. Prices are more than I expected them to be; for example, a bottle of domestic beer was $7. The margaritas started out at $13 and went up to $24.

Found this restaurant when in downtown salt lake. It’s almost underground, there’s a cool lit up entrance. Atmosphere was so creative inside felt very authentic. Chips and salsa were amazing, I ordered the chila verde and it was enough for two people so nice portion sizes. Food was very good, and our server was so nice!!

Unfortunately only a 3 star experience for us. One person in our group ordered the stuffed avocado which had shrimp that seemed a little spoiled- only had a few bites- the coconut shrimp was good and the BURRITO AHOGADO was a big portion! – but was just ok. The $9 IguanaRita – listed as Utah Famous was good, but small – seemed like 3-5 sips and it was gone, it was loaded with lots of ice
