Arrived home and wanted to get dinner as I hadn’t really eaten most of the day. Ordered close to closing time. Watched staff talk among themselves for a good 5-7 minutes before preparing food.

Finally, one person prepared my food while the other two cleaned up the restaurant. Overall, good beef taco salad but the bean & cheese burrito was not so great.

I had never been to this establishment before and can’t say I’ve decided one way or the other, if I will return.

At SLC there are many great options, but after looking at the photos of the food at BI, I thought the food looked like good Mexican places in NYC (think San Loco). I liked how the menu was small and the food just looked authentic. So – gave the loaded nachos a try. Delicious. Big portion. Good price. Not a ton of chips. Generous with guacamole – which was fresh. I took the nachos back to the main atrium for a better view. Thanks Blue Iguana!

I’m often traveling through the SLC airport, but I’ve never tried Blue Iguana until today.
What I loved-
The burrito was delicious
well portioned, though I wish they’d given you a little more of the sides that come with it.
It came with rice, beans, guac, and sour cream.
Will be back:)

Stopped in SLC for a layover. I came to eat here and Alicia helped us. She was very accommodating to my extra requests. And she was very friendly! Definitely recommend this place.

I ordered the Carne asada taco plate. It has a nice zesty flavor, but the meat is dry. Tortillas were freshly made. Rice and beans had good flavor as well.

Saturday night was pretty busy, however when I had the chips and guacamole it was worth staying to order. Excellent food and Alicia was wonderful and served me and my husband so quickly and kindly! I will be back during our next trip to the airport!

Waited an hour for this to open walked across the airport just to be be greeted (not actually greeted) by the most unhappy rude people. The girl taking my order was short w me and the guy prepping the food didn’t even look at me and slid the food across the counter, didn’t ask if I needed anything clearly very grumpy and didn’t want to be there. The worst part is I didn’t even eat the protein (bacon) I paid extra for. The bacon was a dark brown and was soggy and super strange texture and color. I didn’t eat it in fear of food poisoning from rotten sitting food. 1/10 experience.

Great overall food option at SLC. While not a whole lot of options abound here—this is one of the best ones—and food and service are great which is a nice plus

At with my family at Blue Iguana after our flight was cancelled. Food was yummy, though seasoning was hit and miss (enjoyed the asada burrito and chicken enchiladas, though I found the tacos a bit bland). Staff was very helpful and friendly and helped me to use the meal voucher I had received from Delta. Ambiance is nice and any place playing Selena is a winner in my book.
