Both the staff and owner are very friendly! When I came in the first time last month, I was greeted politely and helped right away. I visited again last week and highly suggest the Jalapeño Ball, (more sweet than spicy, I ate it before I could take a pic) it’s my favorite!! The sushi tacos are so yummy. A very cool and interesting new food to try if you’re open to new things! I always go during happy hour, definitely will be returning every month!

The food was great! We got sashimi, rolls, the short rib plate and a taco. My favorite was the crispy spicy salmon and tuna taco! Definitely getting that again. The chef made us a special sauce for our sashimi that was delicious too.

Service is great. The staff is really the main reason I will be a recurring customer. Great personality and very attentive. Takayoki is one of the best appetizers I have ever had. Food overall was great and for the price you cannot beat how much you get!

I came in at around 3:30PM. Not busy! The chef made everything fresh!!! I ordered a spam musubi for appetizer but I ended up taking it home bc it was soooo warm. It made for a good snack for my main dish I got the bbq chicken + kalbi short rib combo. It came with Mac salad, some kind of slaw with a tasty tastyyyy dressing, & I also added a side lime pepper sauce. It gave a nice freshness to the dish! Will definitely be coming back(:

We stopped at Blue Hawaii in Omaha after someone recommended it to us while we were passing through town, and we’re glad we did. The staff made a great first impression—they were clean-cut, well dressed, and very respectful. The restaurant itself was spotless, including the cooking area, which you could tell was kept in excellent condition.
Our meals were ready in about seven minutes, which was impressive. We both ordered the Katsu chicken. It was good—crispy and flavorful. The macaroni salad was also tasty, and the white rice was just what you’d expect. While the food didn’t completely blow us away, the overall experience was positive.
What really stood out was the outstanding customer service and cleanliness. We’ll definitely stop by again when we’re in the area, and next time we’ll try something different on the menu—our friends ordered other dishes that looked incredible!

This place is amazing! The food is so good and the people are so kind! They brought us out different sauces to try and were on top of refills and checking on us. Highly recommend anything from the Hawaii bbq grill! My katsu chicken with curry was 10/10 (especially with a side of sweet chili sauce). Girlfriend’s garlic honey chicken was amazing too. Cant wait to try the sushi, soups, and everything else.

Every time I have come the food has been very tasty with amazing service. The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome!! Tonight we tried the sushi tacos on recommendation and they were fantastic!! If you haven’t been I highly recommend stopping in!! And the sauce for the katsu chicken is a BIG hit!!

Such a cute place with fun staff and our server was hilarious . We started with perfectly salted edamame followed by a caterpillar roll, Vegas roll, Philly roll and all the sauces. The display was super cute too! Would definitely come here again.

The server was really friendly and fun even though we came near closing! He even mentioned that UNO students get a discount without us asking! I tried the gyoza, curry katsu udon, and Honolulu garlic chicken. The portions are huge for the price. The garlic chicken was extremely flavorful and tender.
