We stumbled upon this on accident once, and fell in love with the food and great service. They are so welcoming to our family with our three little ones, plus the food is exceptional. So even though it is pretty out of the way from our house, we use it occasionally as a “special treat” to go out to Bluegrass.

Our family had Thanksgiving dinner at The Bluegrass today. I have to say, it was the BEST Thanksgiving meal I have had in a long time! They had turkey/ham mashed potatoes and gravy, dressing, green bean casserole, corn, rolls and deviled eggs and pecan pie. I hope they do this every year!

I started going here as a child with my Aunt and Uncle, after moving back to the area , I am pleased to say they have the best food around! The staff and owners treat you like family! It’s nice to go eat and feel like your visiting family with the home cooked food and friendly staff! I go about 4 times a month and even keep up with ‘Di’metri’s college experience (owners son) I can’t say enough good things about them!!

Fast friendly service at a LaCenter institution! I’ve had breakfast there ages ago but this most recent visit for lunch I tried the gyro and it was incredible! I’m honestly mad at myself for not trying the gyro sooner, that’s how good it was.
They are always hopping so I know the rest of their food is good too. They post daily specials on Facebook and occasionally have holiday special meals like on Valentine’s and Thanksgiving.

When we are in the part of KY we make sure we stop here. Everything is excellent. Catfish is great, must have the fried green tomatoes. You won’t be hungry for dessert but i recommend to get the sawdust pie to go.

Conveniently located on US 60, the staff is very friendly and I think everyone they know gets a hug. The salad bar was fresh and the two piece catfish dinner was delicious came with salad bar, and I ordered steamed veggies too. The service was prompt and courteous. If I’m in town again, I’m going back.
