Authentic food.
This is the number one authentic Jamaican restaurant. They have really amazing food. And the people who work here, they are really customer, friendly and very close and otherwise a lot. And this restaurant is located in the state streets connected, which is very close to the intersection of north brandewa Avenue and the state street and also close to bus stop. And this is a really best restaurant I have ever visited.I will highly recommend everybody to try this jamaican restaurant flame jamaican fusion everybody must try this restaurant

I was delivered the ox tails meal. It was soooo delicious and arrived so quickly I thought they were located closer to my home.
It was hot and fresh!!! I will definitely order there again. Oh! And the portions were generous!!! Definitely 5 star

The food was excellent and has far exceeded my expectations ! I ordered the Braised Oxtail, with rice & beans & cabbage, and the Rasta Jerkfredo Pasta, with chicken and shrimp. And let me tell you that after having tasted these delectable items, I am in extreme bliss. The pasta was flavorful and well seasoned with an added touch of heat, which I loved. The shrimp was succulent, and the chicken, plump and juicy. The oxtail is delightful. The rice and beans were especially cooked to perfection, and the cabbage tasted light and fresh. I spoke with Shakira, who was attentive and never lost patience with me when I asked a thousand questions about the menu. I am looking forward to going here again in the future whenever I visit New York again. This place was truly a great experience for me, and I heartily recommend eating here to all.

I have passed this place many times and would say I need to try them. Anytime I see a new Caribbean spot the first thing I order is always the oxtails.
Yesterday was the day. I ordered the braised oxtails cooked with Lima beans and comes with steamed cabbage, rice and peas and one fried plantain.
The oxtails were cooked to perfection – fork tender, fall off the bone with ease, thick gravy, nicely seasoned with a bit of spice. By far one of the best I have had in a while. Enjoyed the lima beans that were cooked with the oxtails.
The steamed cabbage had no seasoning or flavor, cooked well, tender with a slight crunch.
The rice and peas were bland but mixed with the oxtails and gravy was better
Was sad I only received one plantain – next time I will order an extra side of them.
Definitely a decent price for the serving I received.
I give the oxtails an 8 out of 10.
The rest – 6/10.

This place is disgustingly dirty inside. I spent 20$ on a jerk chicken cockpit or whatever it’s called. DISGUSTING. Unseasoned meat, all of it. The rice was atrocious. Don’t speak for the steam vegetables. I literally took the bones out and mixed it for my dog. My most horrible eating out experience to date. I could NEVER enter this establishment again. Not even for a bottle of water even that might taste like garbage. Even my dog walked away, even he don’t want the food.

Ordered delivery, everything was quick, fresh loved by everyone!! We order family style and share amongst eachother and while we each had our favorites we loved every bite . Better than my home-made versions and we now know EXACTLY where to get curried chicken and ox tail from now on. I’m aware places can vary in quality so if i need to update my review ya’ll know i will, but this order was 10/10. We will order again, my only wish would be for even more!

1126 State St Schenectady- Jamaican Fusion- Food is incredible!! As a non spicy eater I highly recommend Brown Stew Chicken served with rice and peas, steamed cabbage and i don’t care for fried sweet plantain so I asked to hold on those- but i recommend asking for extra rice and peas and steamed cabbage – will be back at least 2 times a week!!

First time passing by moved from NYC few years back trying to get hold a grasp on some good food spots and of course jamaican is on my list but 1. Large stew chicken with R/peas and L jerk chicken with rice/peas I can tell you blue flame did not let me down the flavor is excellent im thinking this is even better than the city I happily recommend to anyone looking for some good solid food with excellent flavor absolutely truthful with flavors here …YEA MON !!!
