So good they do a Sunday Buffet that starts at midday, so many don’t open till early evening.
Food was delicious and a great variety which I believe can differ each week.
Fruit, salad and desserts also available.

Stopped in for a takeaway just as they opened. Food was ready quickly and the team were excellent and very polite. Food was incredible, some of the best Indian cuisine I’ve had. Prices are good too.

A treat from my son and daughter in law when I visited them in Portsmouth.
May not look that much from the outside but goodness me, the service and food was absolutely outstanding.
Warmly received and shown to our table. Promptly provided with Papadam’s and pickles along with the menu. The menu had a fantastic selection of traditional and specialty dishes, far too much to list but did take time to work through.
The service was amazing from the very attentive staff.
We opted for starters and a main course, both of which were mouth-wateringly divine. So much so that I would say that this was the best Indian/Bangladeshi food I have tasted in a long time. The Tarka Dhal was to die for!
The food was served piping hot and after the starters were served and devoured, we were politely asked if we wanted to wait for five minutes or so before the main course. That is good caring service.
Just listing a couple of dishes we had, the Hush(Duck) Tikka, Jhinga Suka, Fish Tikka, Lamb Biriani, Lamb Pasanda.
All in all a fantastic meal in a very warm and well decorated(Inside) restaurant.
Highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area. Nearby street parking available.

A Sunday lunch with a taste of India.Ever felt like here we go again same old same old.Well we see the restaurant offering a Buffet Indian meal where hou can eat as much as you like and we thought thats not a bad price.We were very pleased and their food was very tasty and offered a great selection of choice .Helping you to discover dishes you may not have tried befor.All very fresh too.The starte table was good along with the selection of cakes and heslthy options fresh fruit.This is a good place to visit and offers a child price option to for familys.Our 85 year old mum said she really enjoyed serving herself too.Lovely clean modern place and ghe toilets were sportless.Great service very helpful too.A real must try place good value for your money too.

Just had a well below parr meal from Blue Cobra. This is my go to curry house. But today it wasn’t the best they served me, starters was great, but the main curry’s lacked the normal intensity flavour, garlic naan bread tasted like it’s been cooked in a microwave really rubbery/ tough around the edges. Still a great service, great sense of humour. Only given 2stars this time, will try once more

I must say the food was absolutely amazing, i had passant and chicken balti dish must say it was the very best curry i have ever had!! the staffs are very friendly. overall it was an amazing experience, i am highly recommend for this restaurant..

Had a fantastic evening at Blue Cobra in Northend, Portsmouth. The food was incredible! We shared some very authentic Indian dishes, including the delicious Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Tikka Saag. The Naan bread was perfect. The only downside was the noise level – a large party next to our table made it a bit loud for conversation. Despite that, we would still highly recommend Blue Cobra for the amazing food and atmosphere! We will definitely back soon.
