I’m at Blue Burro to try their California Burrito, Carne Asada Fries, and the OREO Cookie Fantasy Shake in my first-ever visit at Blue Burro. I’m going to the one near UC Riverside. I’m having it for lunch to start my Sunday afternoon. I like how they made the California Burrito well done because the Carne asada and french fires made that Burrito spot-on before and after the moment I tried it with chipotle sauce, the mild salsa, and the green salsa. The burrito looks very dope the moment I took my first bite of the California Burrito. I like how they made their Carne Asada Fries because of the texture of sour cream and guacamole made the French Fries and the Carne Asada spot-on. The OREO Cookie Fantasy Shake tasted very creamy and it was well served. I like how the fires were crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and well-seasoned. This is the first time in my life I had Carne Asada Fries and it was fantastic. I give the California Burrito, the Carne Asada Fries, and the OREO Cookie Fantasty Shake at Blue Burro a 10 out of 10 because I like how it was well-served and the representation of what this fast food chain is all about. Their burritos cost the same amount as you eat at Chipotle. Other than that, you should check out Blue Burro the next time you decied to have your lunch.

The food is phenomenal! I’ve tried the bean burrito, the chorizo breakfast burrito, carne asada fries, the rolled tacos, the street tacos, the strawberry shake and the pineapple shake. But let’s talk about the BLUE Horchata!! Wow! The best I’ve ever had. Not too sweet , just right. The owners are the most friendliest and professional and doing a great job in training their staff. Make sure to head over and try out some yummy food. Don’t forget to get the Horchata!

Decided to try this spot in Riverside, CA. My first impression my G…Blu’s burritos are different.
More on the drier side because, burritos don’t come with beans or rice. I added beans to my carne asada burrito luckily and it surprised me. The tortilla decent, beans okay, meat solid. If you’re at UCR and want a healthier burrito, this is your spot. If you’re Mexican from a SoCal I’d avoid this place

Short and sweet.. Welcoming staff, great atmosphere, and pretty good food as well!
Staff were friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is comforting with a nice big layout and great mix of music. Food was definitely good. Possibly your not most “authentic” Mexican food, but definitely one of the better places we’ve had around the University Village area in quite some time. All quality ingredients freshly made as well as great portions. Prices may seem a little high, but portions and taste will definitely compensate for that.
Tried the “Cali Love” breakfast burrito and it was well put together and tasted great. As well as the “Pollo Asado” chips/nachos and they came hefty more than enough to share with 2-3 people. Tried all 3 of their agua frescas; blue horchata – great taste, strawberry cream – my favorite, and pineapple cucumber was a great taste as well. Strawberry horchata shake was delicious!
Will be a returning customer and hope nothing but the best for this business!

I hate giving bad reviews but I have to be honest I gave it 3 stars for the taste of the burrito; at least it had flavor. I ordered the bacon breakfast burrito and it had hardly any ingredients in it; it was mainly all tortilla and it was pretty small for the price I paid.
The blue horchata was overly sweet, it didn’t taste authentic and it definitely left my mouth blue

Wow! Best spot for Mexican food. This place does not disappoint. I had the taco combo, the blue horchata was okay. Not to my tasting but the fries were so fresh and good along with the sauces! Went with co workers and we all were satisfied. Staff was also really nice! Great atmosphere. I hope this place lasts!

Great service, good portion size, carne asada meat was really good as well. Much better than Albertos or other Mexican food I’ve had in the area. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. Pepsi soda fountain and shakes are pretty good. High chairs were available for kids. Parking is Free now in the nearby lot. They have breakfast and coffee as well. Highly recommended!
