Good spot for all ages. Great/attractive bartenders, atmosphere and well poured drinks. Definitely get what you pay for. All staff was respectful and friendly despite being busy. Owners were there tonight and were great people as well. You can’t go wrong. Will definitely be back.

Blue Bourbon Jacks is without question the best bar in the city. Now granted, it’s High Point, and the bar isn’t insanely high but BBJ’s would be top tier in any city. It’s got dive bar prices without the cramped run down feeling of a dive, though it maintains all the positive charms of one.

This place used to be decent. I stopped in recently while I was back in town and was very disappointed. Most of my time was spent waiting and trying to get a bartenders attention. There seemed to be only one girl with her eyes open and doing the best she could..she was great but it was busy and her “help” was not very helpful. After waiting over 20 minutes to be noticed, I went to the bathroom to find toilet paper all over the ground, wet counter tops, and dirty stalls. This place has really gone downhill. But if you’re looking to only play pool and don’t need a drink or a bathroom, give this place a shot. You might just love it

I really wanna like this place but I’m disappointed every time. I’ve come as a guest a couple of times, and never enjoy it. First of all, the service is slow. The bartenders do quite a bit of chit chatting with each other and seem incapable of taking more than one drink order at a time. The drinks are super overpriced compared to other bars and why is the same horrible playlist playing every time I go…is no one sick of the song “Brandy” yet? The building has potential to be cool but the vibe is a cross between old bar and a bar trying really hard to be hip by painting everything red and blue. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I’ve been to this place twice. First time, my friends and I were greeted, then ignored for about 20 minutes, so we left. Decided to give it a second chance and it seemed like the bartenders wanted to serve everyone but us. What’s worse was that talking to the bartender serving us was like trying to get a pigeon to take a simple drink order. I’m pretty sure they find their bartenders on Craigslist back door pages.
