This is the “Go To” place for breakfast in Marble Falls. There was a short wait, but the line was even longer after we left. Pancakes the size of a dinner plate. Ham was the most tender ham I’ve ever had. Biscuits were so light and fluffy, it was almost a sin to cover them in gravy. Prices were very reasonable and service was excellent.

Absolutely fantastic place!!! I must visit if you are in Marble Falls. There was a line up to get in(didn’t have to wait long) and still a line up when we left and this was on a Monday. Service was fast and with a smile. Coffee was never empty… We ordered pancakes and pecan pie.
The pancakes were delicious , light, fluffy, not to sweet. The pecan pie was absolutely loaded with pecans and again not to sweet….. Best pecan pie I’ve ever had.
The only little negative…
The decor could do with an upgrade..
And the front hostess, could of smiled..

Of course we came for pie! Ha! But stayed for lunch as well. A family of 5.. only waited about 10 minutes to get a table at 12:30 Friday. Service was good and very nice. The food- excellent. I had the chicken fried chicken, some of the best I’ve had. I didn’t need to season anything. We also tried the chicken fried steak, a club sandwich, French toast meal. All very good! On the pie- we tried the banana cream pie, cherry pie and lemon meringue, which were excellent. Definitely recommend this place!

Bluebonnet in Marble Falls is truly the sweet spot of this whole town — the kind of place everyone recommends, everyone loves, and everyone keeps coming back to. There’s almost always a line out the door when I go, but honestly? That’s how you know it’s good, and the wait is so worth it every single time.

My go-to order never disappoints: the biscuits and gravy (fluffy, buttery, and perfect), a hearty omelette that’s always cooked just right, and either a hot cocoa or their chocolate milkshake — which tastes like nostalgia in a glass. It’s the kind of comfort food that makes you feel like you’re sitting at grandma’s kitchen table, but with the fun, bustling energy of a hometown favorite.

What really makes Bluebonnet special, though, is the staff. They’re always polite, warm, and unbelievably quick. You ask for something, and they show up right after with exactly what you need. It’s that old-school, genuine hospitality that’s hard to find anywhere else nowadays.

And don’t even get me started on the pies. The pie case alone deserves its own fan club. They’re sweet, rich, and made just right every time. My personal favorite? The chocolate — hands down, every single visit.

If you’re passing through Marble Falls or you live here and somehow haven’t tried it yet — run, don’t walk. Bluebonnet is home cooking, small-town charm, and downright delicious food all wrapped into one unforgettable spot.

The food was super good! I feel a little bad because we showed up 15 min before closing but the still welcomed us in! They are so nice and very attentive. I had the chicken fried steak which was really good, home made mashed potatoes, and fried okra (which is the typical frozen type but still good). We enjoyed our dinner, which was plenty and enough to take leftovers home. The server offered us Texas toast because they ran out of rolls and it was huge! Sadly, we didn’t order any dessert, maybe next time.

Had to stop by this historic restaurant! My grandfather stopped here back in the day and recommended us to stop in for cinnamon rolls and breakfast! Everything was delicious and the portions were generous! If we travel back Marble Falls, we now have a go to breakfast spot.

Blue Bonnet Cafe is the real deal. Country cooking and an old Texas feel.
I had the chicken fried chicken which comes with 3 sides. That was fresh, hot and tasty. Breakfast is served all day and my wife ordered an omelette. Breakfast is where Blue Bonnet really steps it up. The omelette and hash browns were delicious and the portions were huge! The cinnamon bun was a meal in itself. Go hungry and please tip the hard working waitresses.

Good place for basic breakfast. Baked good are the prize here, large assortment of pies is what they are know for. Had cherry and peanut butter pie slices, really good. Nothing fancy, just better than most breakfast places plus the pies.
