My fiance, myself and 7 others had lunch here. Not only was the food great, so was the service. Especially since there were 9 of us. I had never been there before because I thought it was just another bar and I don’t drink. I’m glad we all met up there. The prices were very affordable considering the quality of the food.

It’s an ok bar. Food is fine, drinks are served with frosty cold mugs which is good. It’s cash only which I didn’t notice until we had to pay. No big deal just use the ATM. It charges you 2.75 for the ATM it says the name of the person (assuming the bar owner) then charges you another 2.00 on top of that that isn’t mentioned or that I noticed was mentioned .Seems wild and actually pretty greedy. Will definitely just go somewhere else next time I’m in Chestertown.

The food was great and the service started out good but the bar got busy after that it was a little hard to get someone at our table. Be aware they do not take credit cards it is on the menu and up in the wall however it is a pretty small sign and I missed it. Normally I am a cash guy but that day I didn’t have enough to cover the bill.

Bar Keep, Arrogant to say the least. Went to pay bill of 2 Drafts and take out order, $30.00 + 2 Drafts. SHE informed me she would not take my credit cards. I had only 15 dollars in cash. SHE said ATM or VENMO. Grabbed my take out and told me to get out. NICE!! Left my cash, 15.01 and I will Never be back and tell every person I know don’t go there unless you want to meet the HAG of the Blue Bird.

Visited for St. Patty’s Day drinks and celebrating. Heard was a nice local place. Place was busy but not packed. But way too many folks for one bartender to take care of in a reasonable amount of time. We spent some cash had some drinks and left. Nothing really special to your. Maybe need to do a meal next time.
