So this place is definitely pricy but well worth the money. Some amazing looking items here and very unique as well. The strawberry covered cheesecake was amazing and the hot chi latte was very good. Service was good and friendly.

Blu Bee is all style and no substance. It was clearly designed to be aesthetic inside and I appreciate that, but…

The whole cafe is very instagrammable. From the layered drinks, to the labubu-shaped mousse pastries, to the marble and neon lights everywhere.

Unfortunately, for me that’s where the positives end. I love Turkish coffee, and was ecstatic to see that was on the menu. But it was one of the worst coffees I’ve ever had. For a start, it was the wrong preparation – no Turkish coffee should be anywhere near 12 oz. It should be more like 2. Then the flavor: it tasted like burnt tap water with a hint of cardamom essential oil. Absolutely undrinkable, and I’ll usually happily drink poor quality coffee.

The pastries look absolutely amazing, but the one we tried (mousse cake) was sickeningly sweet, full of fake fruit flavor with no balance at all.

Maybe it’s my fault – clearly, they specialize in sweet lattes, maybe I shouldn’t have ordered something against type. But if it’s on the menu… It should at least be passable, right?

The service was unhelpful; the baristas didn’t seem to care or have strong opinions on the product. I also made a point to ask for my coffee in mug for-here rather than to-go, which was acknowledged but then ignored.
Finally, the price is rather high for what you get. For 3 coffees and one cake, it was $30 before tip.

Clearly a lot of people like this place, but their priorities are not in line with my own. But if you want a pretty latte you can post a picture of, this is worth a shot.

This is our second time coming here and everything is delectable. We’ve tried the Turkish coffee, pistachio latte, lotus latte, carrot cake, pistachio cheesecake, pumpkin caramel cheesecake, and caramel cheesecake.

The flavors come through beautifully in both their drinks and desserts without the typical excessive sweetness. The assortment of desserts is incredible considering everything is homemade!

This is easily my new favorite coffee shop in Lake County!

Love this place!!! Such cute decor and incredibly friendly staff. I’ve been there 3 times now and each time I see different staff but they are always equally as helpful and kind. I have only gotten the fruit pastries there so I can’t comment too much on anything else but it all looks good!

As far as the fruit pastries, I’m in love. I’ve been obsessed with trying these for almost a year now and the crunch lives up to the hype for these. However, I will admit, they are sweet and vary in flavor. I’ve tried orange, raspberry, peach, banana, lemon, and mango. Raspberry is by far the best!!! Followed by peach, orange, and banana.

One thing that is a tad annoying is nothing is labeled in the display case (people get confused or take longer to order because they don’t know what things are). Moreover, they are unable to keep the pastries frozen. I get it, they are in a display case all day but they are truly 10 times better frozen. In my case, I live not far so it’s truly no hassle to just throw in my freezer for an hour. Additionally, I will mention for those who aren’t a fan of artificial: The banana tastes like banana laffy taffy, the mango tastes like mango candy not fruit, and the lemon is a very sweet lemon cake flavor. All good flavors, but I’m more into fruity taste like the raspberry and peach versus the artificial/candy taste.

All in all, I will definitely be going back to try more. ☺️

This Cafe is exactly what we need in this area! The employees were super friendly and everything I got was fresh and yummy! The only café locally where I can get an authentic Turkish coffee! Prices were reasonable. Cafe was cozy.

Absolutely love this place the rotation of items is such a good twist. My only complaint is they do not have any traditional items such as Scones, Biscotti etc the deserts are amazing but all so sweet not a great combination sometimes with coffee. Unfortunately you cannot please everyone. I will not stop coming and encourage everyone to check it out. BTW love the Zaatar!!!!

Lake County, are you seeking a hybrid bakery experience? Blu Bee Cafe serves dessert and café options alongside traditional Middle-Eastern selections. Semi-established as a new, and upcoming location within the city of Painesville. Think, dessert and café options fused with MIddle-Eastern flare. Blu Bee Cafe contains Middle-Eastern roots, present in several aspects of its menu-list as well as bakery case.

List-items reflect standard availability, with many (if not all) selections made in-house. In-house bakery, reflecting selections that rotate on a weekly/semi-weekly and holiday basis. Middle-Eastern aesthetics can be found amongst the above, with the in-house baker originating from Palestine. Creative selections, at a steep price point reflecting baker attention to detail.

I’m grateful to see more middle eastern options on the East side, and it’s very difficult to find a traditional Turkish coffee in NE Ohio as it is.
I’ve never seen Pistachio cheesecake before, and their other selections of baked goods are eye melting.
The spinach and feta pie was also great.
I’m glad the music stays true enough to the culture providing a more natural atmosphere and vibe.

We were so excited to try this cute little place and ended up disappointed. Staff was extreamly friendly but the food and dessert was terrible.
Zatar – it was hard and crunchy like it had been sitting for days
Pepperoni n cheese- no flavor and barely anything inside
Lotus waffle- great flavor but so overloaded with the topping that it was like having a mouth full of peanut butter.
Fruit shaped pastries- absolutely terrible. Look pretty but taste bad. Lacked flavor except the raspberry one which was over flavored.
Egg and turkey bacon english muffin- untoasted and soggy bacon strips
We will not be returning and unsure how they have such a great rating.

This place has a delightful Middle Eastern flair/vibe. If you like Turkish coffee, you HAVE to go. Everything was well prepared and they have an amazing variety of baked goods on their menus.

We stopped for breakfast/coffee. I got a Turkish coffee, my wife a pistachio latte, and we shared mini donuts which are made to order.

Highly recommended!
