Bloomfield Bakeshop did the mini cupcakes and the cutting cake for my daughter’s June wedding. The mini cupcakes were a huge hit and everyone asked where they came from. So beautifully done to compliment the wedding colors and tasted amazing too! The small cake was adorable and tasty as well. The shop itself smells amazing.

I ordered a birthday cake from Bloomfield Bake Shop two weeks in advance and was deeply disappointed. The 5-inch cake cost $38, with an additional $10 for just 3–4 small pieces of strawberry. What was supposed to be a “cake” turned out to be more like a giant cupcake. The batter was hard, dry, and completely tasteless, while the icing was overly hard and cloyingly sweet.
The shop seems to focus primarily on cupcakes, as there were no actual birthday cakes on display in their refrigerator case. While the owner was very kind, she should have been honest and stated, “We do not specialize in baking birthday cakes.” It feels like this was more about making a sale than delivering quality.
Baking is an art that should come from the heart, not just for profit. If birthday cakes aren’t your area of expertise, please don’t advertise them. Sam’s Club or Kroger’s cakes tastes way way better. At least the batter would’ve been moist and tasty.

We used Yummy Cupcakes for a small simple “naked” wedding cake for us to cut + mini cupcakes for our guests + a jumbo cupcake for one of my bridesmaids cause it was her 30th birthday. We are so happy with the service we received plus the cake and mini cupcakes — they looked so good and were so delicious! All of our guests loved the mini cupcakes (we had 4 different flavors). We had a great experience working with Lori, the owner. She was so friendly, easy to communicate with and it was very apparent that she is very passionate about the work she does! 🙂 We will definitely use Yummy Cupcakes in the future!

I AM SO BEYOND THRILLED TO LEAVE THIS REVIEW!!!! I’ve seen many post to try Bloomfield Bakeshop for cupcakes I heard they offered vegan which is what I went there for as a gift. I’m not vegan but everything looked so amazing I had to get some for our house as well. The one that really intrigued me was the cranberry orange seasonal cupcake which was in fact vegan. I ordered 6 vegan as a gift and 6 mixed vegan and non vegan for my own household. One was even gluten free. I’m extremely picky when it comes to cupcakes. So many popular shops in the area imo are overly sweet/awful and I never understand how they stay in business. But THESE? Omg…. clearly made with top quality ingredients. And so much love goes into them! I’m absolutely going back to buy more. As a family we shared them all so we could all test different flavors and they were all exceptional. You could not tell the vegan and gluten free were not made with traditional cupcake ingredients. Honestly, the vegan cranberry orange was my favorite. It was a tough choice though, because all were wonderful. It makes me so happy to support this wonderful business. They were so helpful with carrying the cupcakes to my car because I’m injured currently and couldn’t hold onto the boxes. Please support this wonderful bakery. They deserve your support. Delicious, high quality, so friendly, and offer a wonderful variety for all.

Phenomenal job!! I wanted to throw a small baby shower for a co-worker/friend and needed gluten free goodies. I placed the order less than a week in advance and gave pretty minimal description of my decor. Just e-mailed a picture of my back drop. The rest was at their discretion! As you can see— off the charts final products! Exceeded my expectations. Everyone present spoke of the tastiness of the cupcakes and of their elegant presentation.

This place has the absolute most delicious vegan cupcakes. They have gluten free vegan as well and you cannot tell the difference. They are moist, decadent, and rich. The staff are always very kind and helpful too. Highly recommend!!!
