Our cousins were here from out of town & we decided to go out for dinner, 3 of us had Fish & Chips, 1 had grilled cheese sandwich, We couldn’t believe the F&C the breading was so thick in some spots it wasn’t even cooked, really pictures says it all… are waitress didn’t even ask us how everything was, sad, PLEASE SHELTON NEEDS A GOOD RESTAURANT, IF THIS IS THE BEST YOU CAN DO IT’S REALLY SAD….

I arrived at 6 am right when they opened the door. One old timer had beat me to the opening door. My breakfast was very good all fresh ingredients couldn’t be happier. Service was incredible and by the time I left they were getting busy. Great work Blondie’s I will definitely be back soon.

I really want to leave a great review because the staff is fantastic. But I just can’t…because the food is just awful. I’ve been a couple times now to give a fair shot and it was horrible both times. Breakfast and lunch. This place seems to suffer from what many new restaurants suffer….trying too hard. They spent so much on renovations now they can’t afford to spend money on quality ingredients and have too big a menu, so are forced to buy frozen, boxed, bagged, canned, and prepackaged ingredients. My side salad was one leaf deep. No joke. The fries tasted like fish…invest in another fryer dedicated to sea food and onion rings. Or change oil more often. Burger meat was clearly a heavily seasoned frozen pattie squashed to appear like a freshly formed patty. Blondies….pare down your menu. Do a few good things really well….or everything will always be bad. Unless or until you get the staff and facility to serve a fuller menu with quality ingredients. The place is clean at least.

We ate dinner and breakfast on 11-12-13-2025. The menu was well put together and the food was fixed perfect at dinner and breakfast. The service was good at dinner the server was very good. She was friendly and efficient in her job. The serve at breakfast was outstanding. She was friendly and very efficient in her job. She paid attention to all her customer and made sure everyone had what they wanted. Once again the food and service both time was great. I would recommend if you are going through Shelton you stop by and have a meal at this Restaurant.

This place is such a gem! We were super hungry and only in town running errands on a very hot day while camping. Consulted Google for a tasty place and Blondies did NOT disappoint! They have a different spin on some of the meals we ordered, but all the food was absolutely divine! My husband got the super spud full pound potato with oysters, spinach and sour cream. My daughter’s spaghetti was a fantastic change from the norm. I had the meatloaf and left a very happy camper, indeed. When you go, definitely check out the ladies’ room. It’s pretty funny, and one of the cleanest restaurant bathrooms I’ve ever been in!

I think this restaurant will be good after ‘growing pains’ and has lots of potential.
We walked in and waited to be seated. After about 5 minutes the girl finally looked up at us and said to seat ourselves, even though there were no signs about seating.
The waitress was super sweet and nice and put in the effort. However the food took 30 minutes to arrive and we were there at 11 am on a Thursday, not busy at all. No one ever came back to check on us or refill the water or soda. When we needed more napkins we went and got them ourselves. It felt like they were short staffed or overwhelmed or just not up to speed yet. When the food arrived cold, we didn’t want to wait another 30 minutes so we ate a little bit and took most of it home to heat up and eat later.
One interesting and notable feature-the booths are very very wide. The table was at least 18 inches from me on the seat and I am not a small person 🙂 so I had to shimmy up to the edge or else each bite was being carried long distance from the plate to my mouth. I wish there was this much room on an airplane seat. I am including a picture in case this helps anyone and/or sometimes seating is too small.
Over all I might try this place again in about 6 months and hopefully it will be more streamlined.

King Coffin
I really enjoyed this place. It reminded me of the diners that existed when I was a kid. The mixed coffee cups looking like grandma’s cupboard gave it the home feel that just felt personal. I did have to ask for a refill when I watched a server refill other tables and was completely oblivious to my cup. Other than that I enjoyed my experience and my food.
